Hi again. Thank you for the info regarding motorhomes. Something worth considering.
However, I am not intending to "sneak" a 7th person in. That was why I said I am happy to pay for extra tickets and extra charges for the 7th person if they would allow. At this point, I am not booking for 2 units because the other family has not confirmed if they are going. It would be a waste to have a 2nd unit if they ended up not going to DLP.
I have had experiences booking from other places (not DLP) where they just charge me extra for having an extra adult/child etc. I do not feel that I am being dishonest if we asked beforehand whether this was allowed or not. If they said it was not allowed, then we would comply and not "sneak" somebody in.0 -

There is camper van parking at the DLP car park with shower facilities and electrical hook up, it is 13 Euros a night and aparently they have space for 1000 motorhomes. It not really announced but there ther eis a small bit about it here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g226865-d189258-r14402908-Disneyland_Park-Marne_la_Vallee_Seine_et_Marne_Ile_de_France.html It would cost you even less if you took the motorhome. Join the shareholders club and you'll save 20% on annual passes too, this is how you get free parking for your stay.

Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on hotel policy.
The above statement was from the expedia.co.uk webpage on davy crockett ranch. I have read this info before and looked at the booking options at the DLP website but I did not see any option of adding an extra person. That was why I thought I would ask here.0 -

People with AP have found they can book a room for 1 ad, 2 ch and then pay for the 2nd ad in the family when they arrive because it is cheaper this way (they have found a loophole but I have never tried this, I have only read about it). This is what the 'add an extra person' policy if for.
You have been told by several people that units at DC only sleep 6 so the 7th will not be able to stay there but you have still said you are just going to fit them in and have no intention of booking 2 units.
You get charged per person at Disney, not per unit, there is no excuse for it really. Sorry, it is dishonest IMO.
Kids under 7 stay and play free so you would not be gaining anything as there will be no charge for the kids in your party, just let the other family book their own room if you do not want to book 2 units and stay in a hotel instead of at DCR. Or stay at Val d'Apartments in Val d'Europe (they are a partner hotel and you still get tickets) and they DO sleep 7 there.0 -

Check prices on Lastminute and Expedia as well as they are often the same price but the cashback rate is higher. I got 12% CB when I booked with Expedia and it was the same price as was showing on the DLP website.0 -

you call it theft here, no need really to go starting a thread about this elsewhere

Not sure what your point is to be honest, I did not start a thread on 'it' elsewhere, I asked a question on the subject save asking it here as it was not really OT. Someone asked the same thing about Butlins a few months back, that they were going to sneak someone in that they had not paid for, should I have used that example instead?
Theft is dishonesty though, isn't it? So not sure what point you are making, I have told the poster how I feel so it is no secret. And why should I not ask for opinions on another thread? Is that not the point of an open forum? To get peoples opinions?
Now more people will just come over here and tell that poster what they think and some of them from DT are not that nice in their answers. That was silly. Or was that your intention?0 -
