ive finally booked up, 2 nights in the disneyland hotel for 4 adults 1 child and 1 toddler for £1300, i was just wondering wether it is normal for the toddler to not be on the booking confirmation?
if they are aged under 3, yes, perfectly normal for them not to be included on your confirmation.

for insurance/fire regulation etc purposes (just like every other hotel/resort anywhere) Disney need to know how many people are booked into each of their rooms/cabins. Any person aged 3 and upwards counts towards the occupancy of the rooms/cabins, so you won't be able to book 7 people into a 6-person cabin.
Thank you for the reply. We could buy the park tickets for the 7th person separately. I was looking for information on the disneyland website about extra charges for more than 6 people but did not find such an option. We have stayed in caravans before that did not have much space and managed well. For short breaks anyway, not for long term. We would be out most of the day anyway and just need a place to sleep in really.0 -

Hi everyone, I was thinking of booking to dlp for me and my family, mon 2nd jan until thur 5th jan. Was wondering if anyone has been these dates previous years and what was the crowds like(hoping its gonna be quiet).
Also when I spoke to disney on the phone they say the christmas celebrations will still be ongoing until the 8th. Is this the case? hope it is as this will be for my 2 little girls big christmas present and would hate to go at these dates if everything is getting taking down when we are there.
One last thing thinking of the hotel cheyenne, looks nice. Whats your experience of this hotel?
Would appreciate as much info as possible as thinking of booking soon, Thanks:)0 -

Why did you not book 2 units so that there was room for all of you?0 -

Hi there. Thank you for the reply. We have not booked yet. I am not keen on booking 2 units because there might be only 4 of us. The other 3 (2 adults, 1 child) are not a sure go yet due to the parents' work commitments. If they manage to sort out their schedule and join us, I am not worried about having enough room/space for everybody because we would manage to fit (esp with 3 small kids). We might even bring a camper van or caravan or a spacious van if this is allowed. I would only like to know if they would accept 7 people in case. I do not mind paying extra for the 7th person's tickets or incur an extra charge for having an extra person in the cabin. However, I feel paying for a second cabin for having 1 extra person is not the most practical idea. We could use the money saved for meals, souvenirs, etc. Hope this makes sense.0 -
I hear what you are saying I just think it's a bit dishonest because they only sleep 6 and so if there are more than 6 you need to spread out a bit and get 2 units - one per family. 7 of us are going to Butlins this year and we have booked 2 x 4 units, I'd not dream of trying to sneak someone else in 'for free' and yes, we had to pay an under occupancy fee for that.
There is camper van parking at the DLP car park with shower facilities and electrical hook up, it is 13 Euros a night and aparently they have space for 1000 motorhomes. It not really announced but there ther eis a small bit about it here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g226865-d189258-r14402908-Disneyland_Park-Marne_la_Vallee_Seine_et_Marne_Ile_de_France.html It would cost you even less if you took the motorhome. Join the shareholders club and you'll save 20% on annual passes too, this is how you get free parking for your stay.0 -
Can anyone help with ryanair flight luggage - I know how much im allowed and I've paid 40euro to check in 1 15kg bag and we are allowed 10kg hand luggage for 3 of us - now me and hubbie will have 3yr old and almost 2yr old - and two buggies aswell - am i better to go on and pay extra for baggage as we'll be checking in two strollers as well - I only want to have one peice of hand luggage and my change bag/hanbag and then the checked 15kg - but am thinking about soveniers - would I fit 5days worth of clothes in 1 bag??? Im useless at planning !

it won't be really quiet, because most of Europe (including the UK and France) will still be on school holidays for at least the first 2 or 3 days of your trip. It will, however, probably be absolutely blimmin freezing.

yes, everything Christmas will still be in full swing on every day of your trip.

The Cheyenne is a great themed hotel, and families get great value staying there.
Would appreciate as much info as possible as thinking of booking soon, Thanks:)
hope this helps, sorry about the colour in my font, for some reason my laptop won't give me any others at the moment!0
