Hi, we are taking the eurostar from Ashford and wondering what the car parking is like there, and maybe the cost of it. Also it will take us about 2 hours to get there and wondering if anyone lives around this area can they tell me if the M25 and M3 are awful at that time of the day, are we better off trying to find somewhere to stay near Ashford the night before? Many thanks.

Hi there are two parks, the disney park and the studios, they have different rides in each, then the hotels are just a bit away from the parks.
You can only eat your breakfast in your own hotel.
Eurostar...I know as a travel agent that Disney put extortionate prices on for Eurostar, so what I always do is book the Disney side of it, ask them to add the express service which is £18 per adult, then book your Eurostar for the dates you want when it is released and use a figure of around £85 per person as a starting point of what you would expect to pay.
    Hope this helps

Minx, Disney have a 30% off offer on Travel at the moment if you book it online at time of booking your accomodation. I always book the 2 seperately but when I looked for Feb half term the offer made the price pretty much like for like and not as expensive as usual - plus the Disney Express would be included if you book it through Disney.

Ashford Parking - If you look at the eurostar website it lists the parking rates. Its £11.50 per 24 hours or they do a weekly ticket (depending how long you go for). You can park on someone drive for £5 a night. If you google parking at Ashford it should come up the link for it.

If you are thinking of staying overnight I think Holiday Inn offer a stay and park. We have booked into travel lodge for the night before and the night we return (booked this before I found out about the Holiday Inn) but we cannot leave our car there inbetween.

    Hello,

We are off to Disney on Sunday and have booked our hotel (santa Fe) through Disney, and our eurostar tickets seperatly direct with Eurostar.

I know Disney have some sort of service where you can leave you luggage at the station and they will take to the hotel for you - Is this a free service, or something I will have to pay extra for as I have booked both seperartly?

I honestly have never heard of them and would be very wary of any company that uses disneyland paris in their web address. Why would they need to do this if their business was reputable? Maybe give them a call and speak to them.

How much cheaper? if it is just a few ££ I'd stick to the official site as you know you will not lose your money as it is more than unlikely DLP themselves would go bust. That is just me though.

To me, it seems like they are trying to make themselves look the like official site with logos and flash players, just rings bells for me to be honest. Have you googled them?

Its a free service if you've booked your whole package including travel through Disney. You have to pay £16 per adult for Disney Express if you've booked your travel separately. tThere may be a cut-off time for when you can add this to your existing Disney booking, so I'd call them today or tomorrow if you think this would be of use to you.

Last time I tried to book the Disney Express they would not let me as I had booked the eurostar seperately. You can call and ask them, there will be a charge of £14 per adult (kids free) if they do let you, I did call several times but they all said no. We decided we would get to the hotel first them check in.

If you have bought a package a Disney rep will speak to you on the train, if you have booked the Disney Express seperately then you'll get your tickets at the Disney Express counter - you have to get off the train and go upstairs.

HOWEVER, my recommendation would be to get off the train and go to the hotel and check in straightaway. Your room will probably be ready and you can leave your cases there and go out. The buses will be quiet, check in will be quiet. If your room is not ready you can leave the cases in the left luggage area at the hotel and then collect them later and go to your room. The reason for this is that you'll have to queue for the Disney Express (which can take 45 minutes if you are last in the queue), then queue at the hotel to check in later in the day - and by then it will be busy as everyone will be checking in for that day.

Get off the train and check in and there will be no queue for buses and no queue for check in, then go out and go back to the hotel after the parks and go straight to your room. Will always be my preference now.

On the day you leave you can pay a small fee per case (HNY was 4 Euros) and they will take your cases to the station and you collect them in the evening when the Disney Express counter opens (around 6pm). No prior booking is required, just do it on the day you leave. You'll get a ticket to hand over to get your case.

    HTH.

ETA: Looks like it has gone up to £16 per person.

We paid £99 to stay at AshfordHoliday Inn and it incuded parking for up to 5 days, full english breakfast AND taxis to and from the Eurostar terminal!! I love the Holiday Inn!!

I just checked, it is Ashford Central, put a date in and check the options, there is a Eurostar Package option for stay, breakfast and parking with taxi to and from hotel for £102. They will give you a voucher for the return taxi journey and you call and they come and get you. Bargain!!

Did I mention the full buffet english breakfast...??? Yummy!! :T
