They're self catering apartments v close to Disneyland Paris, with a free shuttle bus which is v regular and reliable. There's a shopping centre across the road with a supermarket about 5/10 minutes away (it is a huge shopping centre!!)

We found it handy, and it has a RER station which makes it easy to get from the centre of Paris - we got a Ryan Air flight to Beauvais and a bus into the centre of Paris, and a train out to Val d'Europe - all really easy and straightforward. It isn't a cheap holiday once you add up ticket prices, flights and accommodation - but it is a really enjoyable one :)
  • Do you drive? as the cheapest way to go is by car.

If it is the Disney experience you are after then don't rulle out Florida ... younger sib is thwere now with his sprogs. He intended going to Eurodisney but when he priced around there was so little in it he decided on a week (or possibly 10 days) in Florida.

I agree with you here...everyone is always saying that to us but (and this is JUST me!!LOL) when I price it, it is really expensive, I can't see the 'slighly' higher prices..they seem to be quite high???? One thing that worries me too is the flight..I have a 2 year old and the thought scares the living daylights outta me ...but yes I can see how going there if you can get the prices would be WELL worth it! xxx

    Hi

We found it much cheaper to book separately. Got BMIbaby flights for about £20 each!! We booked our hotel through cresta (but there was little diff in prices between companies tbh). We were flexy with dates so combined the kids stay and play free offer with the extra day and night free offer. It cost us around £600 for 4 of us for 5 days and it was fantastic.
We staye din the cheyenne which i would highly recommend. Not much more expensive then the santa fe but the reviews we read were much better. We couldn't fault it to be honest. The rooms were good size, cowboy themed (great for little boys!) and a nice 10 min walk into the park down a riverside. Brilliant.
I found it to be more cost effective to book a disney hotel as you get your park tickets included. We paid £600 for the 4 four of us. This included 5 days park tickets which would have come to over £600 alone.
Have a great time, whatever you decide - its brilliant!

PS I looked into booking a cheaper hotel further away but you just couldn't beat the convenience of being able to walk straight into the parks. I'm glad we booked Disney. The characters also came to the hotel each morn/aft for photos and to meet the kids which was great as the queues in the park to meet what I call 'the A listers' ie mickey, donald etc where absolutely horrendous!

Yes it is great coming out from your breakfast and joining a queue that is only 4 people deep eh?:rotfl: In saying that we go in the quiet time to DLP and you almost get the characters and the rides to yourself ...we have been in March 06 and January 07 and off again in about 11 days time..its almost dead...but the down side is you seriously freeze to death!!!:D You gotta luv it..not sure what I'd do if it was busy!!:rotfl:

6 days in santa fe Hotel, 2 adults, 2 kids, flights from Edinburgh, all transfers, breakfast and park tickets...under £900!!! Which I though was really good (as a package)...last January it was only £776 though so kinda feel 'done'!! But My son is older and has to pay for flights now or something????

Probably spent more than that on thermals, ski suits and snow boots!!!;)

Have a good one and keep us all posted if you decide what you are doing!!

Cheers all the best Katrina xxxx
