Yes, you can , though that's not cheap either. The good news is that the train drops you off in the heart of DLRP so no further hassle or expense when you get there (station is called Marne La Vallee from memory).
I've never found a cheap way to get to DLRP from CDG unfortunately; you can book a private shuttle but I don't think it will be cheaper than the shuttle bus price Joe's quoted.
Sorry
ETA I've found a site that says the cost of the RER train is approx14 € or 12,30 € for a 1-Day Mobilis travelcard0 -
Both Charles de Gaulle Airport (or Roissy, as it is known in France) and Disneyland (Marne-la-Vallée) are on the RER network, which is a cross between an underground and a suburban rail system.
You'd have to take one RER train from CdG into Chatelet-Les-Halles (in Paris) and then change lines onto the RER to Disneyland, but odds are this would be much cheaper than €116. It would probably take longer than 40 minutes though!
Give me a few minutes, I'm delving into the RER french website for fares.
edit - CdG to Paris is €8.20 adults and €5.80 half tariff. Paris to Marne La Vallee is 6.30 adults and 3.15 childs. Having said that it may well be possible to buy a single ticket at CdG all the way through to MlV, which would be cheaper, but I can't find that online. The round trip should take about an hour and ten minutes on trains, plus a short wait at Chatelet-les-Halles for the connecting train.
Under 4s travel free, under 10s get the half fare.0 -
I think we were both searching for fares at the same time, teeb0

Do you have to pay for small children on the trains or are they free?0

Can you not try calling who you booked with? Some companies do free train passes included in the price or sell tickets at discounted rates?Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.0

I am considering using my clubcard vouchers to go to paris on the eurostar but wondered how far Disneyland was from Paris itself and which was the easiest way to get there.
I am searching the web as well for help but its confusing me so im hoping that someones been.
And can anyone recommend a nice hotel for a 7year old birthday in Feb.
Thanks :j0 -
We went by coach, and it is quite a long way outside Paris. However, IIRC, it has its own RER local railway station.
PS. The guide books recommend taking the "Western" style train, which runs around the perimiter of the park to get an idea of the layout of the place. This is a good idea. However, everyone tries to get on at the station by the entrance. The trains go clockwise. Therefore, go to your right and get on at the station before the entrance.
PPS. The French for Winnie the Pooh is NOT "Winnie le merde".The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
There is one Eurostar a day that goes directly to Disneyland.
Disneyland is about 40 minutes on the RER, which is a cross between a suburban train and a metro / underground.
If you don't get the direct Eurostar, then you have to take the RER from Gare du Nord (where the Eurostar arrives) to Chatelet-Les Halles (on lineand switch to line A, which goes all the way to Disneyland (Marne-La-Vallee Chessy).
edit - and there are direct coaches, too. Taking the RER is a smidge cheaper, I believe, though.
