    Hi,

I haven't read all the replies but you can get the Eurostar to Marne-La-Valee. If you are going to be staying in a Disney Hotel you will find storage facilities for your suitcases. You just need to drop them off and from the station it's about 5 minutes walk to the entrance gate.

We were at Disney about 2 weeks ago. My 4 year old had a lovely time.

    Have fun.

You can use clubcard vouchers to Paris on the Eurostar and get the RER into Disney (not expensive or time consumung). It really is not far at all, trains run regularly and you can buy the tickets at the station from the ticket machines (English option available). I got the direct train from Gare du Nord to Marne-la-Vallee.

As you obviously have discovered, you cannot use the Clubcard vouchers to get to Disney anymore!

With regards to hotels, check out the Eurostar website and put your details in there. It comes up with lots and lots of choices and all you need do is contact the hotel directly. Expect a Parisian hotel room to be on the small side though......
  • Thanks all. :T

Im going to book it as a surprise for the whole family now that i know its not to far.

Bet we have one excited little girl on her birthday and the price of some hotels are a bit:eek: in disneyland but when your saving on the cost of eurostar it doesnt make it seem so bad (i think that theres logic in there somewhere):rotfl:
  • I'm looking to go to disneyland this year with husband, 12 year old, 10 year old and 3 year old. Am i right in thinking that the only disney hotel that sleeps a family of five is the davy crockett ranch which you have to drive to. I would be grateful if anyone could confirm this.

    Thanks

  • I think you could be right...but if one is in a travel cot then all hotels hold 5...but think they might have to be 2/3 or under....I would phone.
We always go to hotels in the park as its easier for us..no buses or cars to worry about..and as we are a family of 4 its never came up before but sure I was told the above about a year ago.
Have a great time anyway...we are off again in 2 wks time....thermals at the ready!!LOL xxxxxx

No not right. The Explorers hotel sleeps, 4,6 or 10 in adjoining rooms (or any numbers less than that). The Holiday Inn also allows 5 in a room. You don't need a car for either of those places.

There are some Citea apartments nearby that also sleep over 4 at Magny Le Hongre and probably the ones at Torcy too, plus the Pierre et Vacances apartments at Val d'Europe, the next RER stop to Disneyland.

    Hi All,
I want to take my son to disneyparis in 2008. Im a single mum and have one child. My brother may come along to but this isnt confirmed yet so if he doesnt it means it will cost me more to go as there is only 1 adult and usually you have to pay a supplement. I really would like to stay in a disney hotel but some of the packages I have looked at are very pricey.

My questions is, is it cheaper to book flights separate and hotel seperate? If a disney hotel is to pricey and I found a cheaper hotel in Paris, would it be difficult to get to disneyparis itself?

I have noticed some airlines do really cheap flights sometimes, so wanted to cheapist and easiest way to book. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice.

We always book as a package..yes you can get flights cheaper if you are lucky but I prefer to deal with one company if things go wrong...we are off in 1 wk and 6 days (yes and counting!!haha) and there is strikes..if I was booked with different companies I would feel there is more chance of my holiday being cancelled...but thats just me!

We always stay ay the Santa Fe hotel which is in the park and right next to an esso garage..handy for snacks.....its a very basic hotel...like a mexican travelodge!!LOL..but we spend 99% of the time in the parks that booking a dearer hotel would be madness! It all depends on what you plan on the holiday but as far as the SF hotel goes I can't recommend it more....and there is a free shuttle bus to the parks or you can walk it in about 10 mins.
At the end of the day anything is possible in what hotel you book but then you gotto take into consideration transfer prices etc....

anyway have a great time I'm sure you will xx

I think the under 7s freebie is still on...extended as far as I know!
