Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi
I'd like to take my daughter to DLP before she's 3 to make use of Eurostar's free before 3 offer. This means going sometime in May or early June. The Eurostar website doesn't allow me to check that far ahead of costs so does anyone know from experience when's the cheapest (and most appropriate) time to go during this period?
I do have Tesco points but the airmiles only goes to Paris (from what I read here) and don't want to make the journey much longer than needed.
I am thinking of staying onsite (Santa fe or Cheyenne) but again don't know how much it'll be then. I will need to compare it with staying off site but need to account how much saving I'll make and compare to the time I'll add travelling.
Oh I'm thinking of doing 2 days/3 nights.
Any tips welcome.. have already gone through about 14 pages of this thread but doubt I'll get through all 220 pages!
well i would have thought may would be cheaper then june providing there are no school holidays when you decide to go as that usually bumps up the price a bit if you get no luck try here...

you can check the price of staying onsite on the Disneyland Paris website, all the Spring/Summer prices went on a couple of days ago. As your child is 2 years old, you won't pay for her in the hotel, and she won't need a park entry ticket either.
If you're taking the Eurostar from London or Ashford, you can phone Eurostar to get prices and book about 6 months before your intended trip - but I can say that, at the moment, the cheapest adult fare is £69 return.
For comparison offsite - your 3-day park ticket would be around £115, and you can get very nearby nice hotels at DLP for around £60 per room per night.0 -

We were there June 9th this year for 4 nights, the park was reasonable but check the dates of school holidays next year you will pay alot less and have alot more fun outside of these times!
Check for offers, way it all up, price off park + tickets vs on site hotel with tickets included. We stayed at Hotel New York which was fab and booking when 40% off was on worked out around the same price as the cheaper hotels. Also Thomas Cook beat the Disney website and Expedia price offering us an extra discount.
Staying on site is great for making use of extra magic hours and convenience. hth* SPC Member #1094 * VSPC Member #33 £35.08*CC Challenge Member #31 £000/£500 spentQuit Smoking after 5 failed attempts - July 2010 :APersonal test of willpower for 2011 .......'"I will not spend my Clubcard or Nectar Points"0 -

That's not correct, you can use deals converted to airmiles to go direct to Disney, or theres one with a change @ Lille0 -
Hi is it always cheaper to book everything separately, ie eurostar, hotels and so on?
We are looking at going this coming sunday for 5 days and 6 nights (2 adults 2 kids aged 5 and 7) and was thinking we could book the current deal, with 49% off and one child free, and with the 2 free days as well, that maybe booking separately might not be cheaper, but its doing my head in trying to find the prices.
We are looking at about £1000 for the Empire State Club, or £812 for an admiral suite, if I take the prices straight off the disney brochure.
Thanks very much0 -

Hi.
In my experience it has always been cheaper to book the eurostar seperately.0 -

The prices in the brochure are guide prices only, you need to go online to the Disneyland Paris website to get the current price including any offers for your dates and hotel of choice (not all hotels give all offers on all dates). Do a costing on hotel only, then another including Eurostar, see what the prices are. Then do a separate costing on the Eurostar site for transport only (but they do packages to DLP too) and see what the comparisons are.
Expedia also do DLP packages, they might be worth looking into too - and lastminute.com as well.0 -
Sorry, I didn't get a chance to subscribe to this thread previously and don't know how to do it without sending a reply!0

Thank you, I had no idea that they were guide prices only.0
