Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi
We're looking to travel in mid-March but although the 40% discount is advertised we can only get 30% off Santa Fe or Cheyenne. Is this because the 40% deal only applies to the more expensive hotels? Does anyone think it's worth hanging on to see if there's a better deal? Is it worth an extra £31 for 5 nights either along the Rio Grande or near hotel facilities? I think I prefer the Santa Fe as it will be easier for 5 of us to mix & match with beds. Best price is £445 for 5 nights at the moment. We think we'll have 3 days in the park & 2 in Paris so wonder if we should bother to change hotel & only pay for 3 days at the park hotel. Any ideas?

Disney release only a set amount of rooms at the maximum 40% discount in each hotel, so when those have sold out, they sell at the next discount rate, until those sell out etc.
To be honest, even staying offsite you're unlikely to get a much better deal than £445 for 5 nights for 5 people. You could however, see if you could book room only onsite for 3 of your nights with Expedia, and tag those nights on at the start or end of a 2 night hotel/3days park ticket package with Disney?0 -
Fletty. I done a dummy booking for you,for 2 adults and 2 children under 7 and the half board works out at £222 for a 3 night stay. Total price without insurance is £1456.
The same for 4 nights would be £296 for Half board making a total of £1829.
My advice is if you can, get the half board, yes it may sound alot but it's cheaper then you were quoted, the resturants at the sequoia are fantastic. As for individual prices off the menu i can't advise but if you goto the link i posted earlier i am sure they would have it
I had a main course at the Sequoia Lodge Beavers Creek tavern last week (wasn't fussed for the starter or dessert buffet) - it was a big plateful, beautifully cooked, and only cost 19 euros. My daughter had the full kids buffet, hers was around 13 euros I think.
In my opinion, half board vouchers don't necessarily save you any money at all nowadays. But, if you would eat one table service meal per day, and you would prefer to budget for those meals before you get to DLP, then there may be some point in adding them (at the Disney price) to your booking.0 -
I am trying to book my hotel through tcb or quidco but it's not working - is anyone else having problems?0

Hi. Hypothetical question for you;
Just supposing I had booked the santa fe for 3 nights early next year, but due to the rubbish flight times out (easyjet fly to Paris from Liverpool at 17:50!!) we decided to fly out a day earlier and stay overnight at a nearby cheap hotel and go to the parks early on day 1, meaning we didn't miss out on any park time.
And just suppose we are a family of 7, and the best place we could find (price and location-wise) was the Explorers hotel not too far from the parks.
Now if you also supposed that the only room they had was a crew-6 (6-berth), and there would actually be 7 of us there.... would it be really wrong to spend one night there with one too-many people?
I'm sure they wouldn't notice an extra one (young child) especially as we would be checking in late evening, spending one night there and having breakfast before leaving.
All hypothetical of course. But it would save us the expense of booking two 4-berth rooms or even the only other option, a crew-10.
I've checked loads of other hotels, b&bs but none cater for a family of 7 for one night without charging the earth.
Any thoughts? I'll reiterate, it's hypothetical as nothing is booked.... yet!Trust me.... I know what I'm doing.0 -

I would be very careful about having one extra person stay in the room without them knowing. You would be breaking fire regs, health & safety etc and could put yourselves at risk, heaven forbid, something terrible happened.
If they were aware of it of course, then not a problem, but I certainly wouldnt squeeze an extra person in the room. No matter how young they are.
Have you tried to speak to them? Explain the situation?
Is breakfast included in the price or do you have to pay separate for that? As again, if it is included, in theory, you would be feeding 7 people whereas you have only paid for 6.0 -

Is anyone else having trouble booking Eurostar for April. It's showing the dates I need but not letting me book. We're on the waiting list but aren't hearing anything and when we speak to them they keep telling us different things, ranging from a couple of days two Sundays ago, to we don't know when. It's so frustrating. I've booked the hotel thinking that it won't be long for booking the train!0

I love this thread and there is so much info on here it has helped me so much in booking my holiday at the end of November this year .. As in the last few weeks I have read almost every post on here . Thanks OP and everyone else
Just a couple of questions if anyone knows please , I would be very grateful .
The website Attrationtix ... Does it usually have the offer on 5 Days for the price of 4 ? Or is it just a special offer that comes up now and then ?
I still haven't bought my park tickets yet as I have booked hotel , Eurostar etc all separate , I am hoping to get my hopper tickets on this offer in November or am I best getting them now as some of my money is tied up at the moment ?
Also I have looked on ebay and realised most tickets end around 8th November ... do they normally have special offers on after this time or do the ticket prices go up around this time for the next season ?
Also I am still looking for a cheap hotel in London near St pancras for our eurostar early morning booking the following morning and the night we come back if anyone knows of any websites for one adult and child?
Also we are staying in Paris for 5 nights not on the park but plan to visit the park for 3/4 days and Paris on the other days , which travel tickets are best please , a tube pass or rer pass ?
Many thanks for any help

Well how are you getting there...? If you are going by Eurostar straight intp the park you should be ok. If however you are driving i would fill up in Dover. It is approx a three hour journey from Calais to Eurodisney. If you are flying i would have thpught you would still be fine as planes can fill up here with enough fuel to do a return journey easily.0
