hi our first time in DLP will be 4 days in Jan 11, we have found the Eurostar for £292 return 2 adults and 2 children

3 nights and 4 days on current 40% deal is
    Sequoia lodge is £390
    Newport £424
    New York £523

can someone offer us advise on Are These Good Deals?
    Any other considerations?
Food, buy the HB plan or dine out when there?
    What to take?

Not yet booked , looked at doing package but save £120 booking direct

    All your help is appreciated

  • That sounds like a good deal to me SJ1147, don't forget quidco!

Can anyone help me at all? Where would be the cheapest place to buy a 1 day pass for Disney on 31/12/2010. Have any of you been on NYE before? If so how busy are the restaurants is it possible to book in advance and just how busy do you think the hotel shuttles will be around 12.30 in the afternoon?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

    Hi

I am looking to go over NYE and the prices for the hotels in the park are just not affordable! :(

Has anyone stayed in the other hotels recommended by Disney?

The ones I am looking at are the following:
    Dream Castle
    Hotel Le'Elysee Val d'Europe
    Magic Circus Hotel

We are two adults and would also like to visit Paris on one of the days.

I have been reading reviews but they are very conflicting in nature.

Has anyone got any personal recommendations please?

My partner and I have booked this hotel for NYE 2010 and a couple of nights in Paris to follow. We managed to get the hotel for £124.00 BB via Roomsnet and then two nights BB at Holiday Inn Montparnasse Pasteur for £154.00 again through Roomsnet.Flights with BMI ended up being about £240.00 with pre booked seats and just hand luggage.

The reviews on trip advisor seem to be ok and I must say I had a few queries and emailed the hotel and they responded within 24hours on both occasions.

I had the room service menu emailed to me this is in operation on NYE. If you would like me to email it you please send me a pm.

Hope this helps in some way

Thanks, can anyones suggest if i should book now or wait for a better deal, thanks for the quidco tip?

Do i buy the meal package at £288 or buy while there.

and other other moneysaving help would be great

Is sequoia lodge ok, or would you pay a liitle more?

    thanks
  • Hi we stayed in the Sequoia in Feb 2009 and it was fine, just a short walk around the lake brings you to disney village. I would definately recommend the HB plan we done that and it saved us a small fortune, as a family of four our evening meal would have cost over 100 euros.

WE also took fruit shoots and crisps etc over to Paris with us for the kids to eat in the room and in the parks which saved a few quid too. Euro Disney is fantastic but drinks etc in the parks are expensive 2.50 euros for a 500ml bottle of coke!

    Hi All,
I have just booked one day in half term at DLP through the french site (using my uncles address), Fantastic I saved £15 pp.
They have sent me all the info by email which is fine using google translator but they have also sent me a welcome leaflet with where to go, what to do etc. This is all in French (obviously!) however I cant get google to translate it. Please does anyone have a copy of the leaflet in English they could email me please. I would be very greatful.
Also we are going with one disabled person, please does anyone have any hints or tips to make the day easier for her? Also will they accept the blue badge as evidence of disability?
    Thanks

**Dont worry about the brochure managed to work out that by inserting uk instead of fr in the address I got it in english. Here's the link for future use

Can anyone recommend which restaurants are more suitable for toddlers? My daughter is 14 months old.

We went for NYE in 2007 shuttles were busy during the day but not horrific arrived on NYE on eurostar . The park will be rammed and unless your having a special new years eve dinner then I am pretty sure you can't pre book, but I may be corrected on this. Might be worth posting on the Dis boards or phoning disney. The year we went we weren't in the park at midnight and after the stories I heard I am glad we weren't. This was our first visit and we had a two year old with us. I remember queueing for about an hour for a restaurant though.

    Hi all,

Just wanted to ask in advance (not going to DL til next March) if any single parents who have been to DLRP have any advice ie how did you manage with your luggage, how much luggage did you take, what if any food/drinks/snacks did you take etc etc
Im going on my own with my 10 year old, well she'll be 11 a few days before we leave and am startin to think of ways to save money on food and what can be taken in your bags on the Eurostar and stuff.

Actually i dont mean just single parents its only cause im the only adult im worrying about how much i can physically carry!

    Thanks for any advice
