The Dream Castle always gets great reviews as far as I've seen - I personally have stayed at the Magic Circus and loved it - the nicest hotel at Disney I have ever stayed in (even better than the Newport Bay Club).
Thanks. The Dream Castle and the Magic Circus are both the same price so not sure which to choose.
  • I'm thinking about booking four nights the week before Easter. At the moment it's at winter prices, so it's £800 at the Cheyenne hotel. Does anyone know if I could get it better than that? I have been thinking that they may do larger discounts next year, but if it's at the summer price then it's not really going end up much of a different price (if you see what I mean). Does anyone know if travel agents can do a deal? Thanks

If they're the same price, I'd go for the Dream Castle :) (they are owned by the same company now anyway, Vienna International).

If that £800 doesn't have a 30% or 40% discount price on it (you'll see if it has in the offers bit when you price it up on the official site) then don't book it. As long as you're not booking for a major school or European holiday time, you should get a deal. Maybe playing about with your dates and/or hotels will also get you a discounted offer. Also, maybe you already know, but its usually much much cheaper booking your transport separately yourself, and just booking your hotel/park tickets package with Disney.
  • Thanks balletshoes, I'm trying to book the 11th April which is the first week of the Easter holidays in Essex. I'm a bit stuck as I work in a school as well, so the time I can go is limited. I'm a bit confused by price- the week after is currently £300 more. I don't want to wait and end up paying next year's price and £300 on top if they rearrange the dates and prices. We haven't been before so I'm not sure what potential bargains we could get.

How many people is it for, any children, and what are their ages? It might be cheaper looking at one of the very-nearly-onsite hotels instead, and buying park tickets/annual passes separately. Have a look on Expedia, travelrepublic, alpharooms, etc for the Kyriad, Magic Circus, Explorers, and Dream Castle hotels at Disneyland Paris. Their own websites often have offer prices too.

It's Hotel Cheyenne for four nights 5 days, it's two adults and a four year old and a two year old. I've looked on Expedia and it says there's no availability for the dates I want with the Disney hotels. The price for the other hotels you mentioned seem to add up to the same when I add on the cost of park tickets. I'll keep looking.
  • Does anyone know if you get cheap late entry tickets at Disney. We're getting there about 4pm the day before our full day, and wondered if it was like Alton Towers where you get half price entry for the last few hours.

    Hi

I am looking to go over NYE and the prices for the hotels in the park are just not affordable! :(

Has anyone stayed in the other hotels recommended by Disney?

The ones I am looking at are the following:
    Dream Castle
    Hotel Le'Elysee Val d'Europe
    Magic Circus Hotel

We are two adults and would also like to visit Paris on one of the days.

I have been reading reviews but they are very conflicting in nature.

Has anyone got any personal recommendations please?
How much comfort/luxury are you after? If you can go basic or just above I'd recommend either the Etap or the Ibis at Val D'Europe. My husband and I did this, and we couldn't believe it when we drove to the park and it took just under 5 minutes - meaning they are closer and cheaper than a couple of the Disney Hotels. The Ibis is a bit better quality, if you look on the Ibis website and put in 5646 as the hotel code in the search box. And it's right next to the train station, so you've got links to disney, if you didn't want to drive and park, and direct into Paris as well.
