We are taking 3 boys to disney in june but my youngest will only have turned 3 the week before we are going and i understand under 3's have free entry. I know its a bit cheeky:D but does anyone know if i could chance getting him in as an under 3. We will be buying our day hopper tkts online before we go and i don't know whether to chance it or not with him.
Has anyone done this before? Also is it easy just to buy one tkt on the gate if we do decide to chance it?

should not be a problem, our 3 year old goes in as 2 year old

In Dec we paid 2.90 euros for a soft drink inc coca cola, a small beer / lager was 4.90 in the restaurants so assume the same in the bars. meals were around 10 euros for adult burger meal and 7 for a childs. buffet meals were 21 euros per adult (dont know child prices as dd ate freee being under 3) for a 3 course set meal we paid 30 euros per adult and 16 per child in cafe mickey
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

How far past the 3rd birthday are we talking? Technically, honestly and morally you should be paying for a 3 year old as soon as they are 3. So why lie? The rest of us have to pay so should you.
    End of rant.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Hi I am also a single parent hoping to take my 2 girls(8+12yrs) in August sometime, I'm not sure where to stay, I am kind of on a shoestring budget somewhat, but do want them to have the whole experience, if you have any tips I'd be very greatful.

I think he would love it. I just wanted to respond to your post from the point of view of going on your own with your child - I'm a single parent and have done DLP twice and will be going again this year, it's a great single parent holiday :)

  • hi all REALLY need some help on organising our holiday!

finally conviced dh to take us all to dlp this year!:jbut so lost on trying to get the best deal etc!

we have a 5yr old and 5mth old and looking to go anytime from may to july as this is while i am still on mat leave. when i went to the travel agents she said she couldnt tell if they have off peak/peak rates ( not sure if she was telling porkies!) obviously as we are flexible i would rather go when its cheapest!

not sure either on how many days to go?don't want to drag it out but then again dont want it to be completly rushed! i was thinking mon to wed?or would i be better adding another night?

as we have a baby can anyone suggest a good hotel? someone suggested the siquita?or something like this!! we would like it to be quite close as like to be able to nip back with baby etc if required!

can someone tell me whether the eurostar is our best bet?i believe this goes straight into the park, so thinking not too much hassle with bags pram etc! and is this better booking as complete package with dlp or separatly?

would be very grateful if anyone else with a baby has been and has any words of wisdom!!

again just want to make it as stress free and fun as possible without paying a small fortune uneccessarily ( travel agent didn't seem to get this concept! just offered us the most expensive package i think!!)

It is within the same station, so really easy. However, there's a 1 hour wait between the trains so be prepared to wait. (assuming u're arriving by eurostar from london)
