  • another good way to get free food is to go into a restaurant, say Lucky Nugget for example - ask if the kids can urgently use the loo, then when the staff aren't looking get them to cram as much stuff from the buffet as they can can into their pockets. We do it all the time, saves us bundles, and the kids think its great fun

    ;)

was all going fine until one time, when one of the kids scooped handfuls of lasagne into her pockets . made a right mess it did..... quite nice though! ;)

well when you book you get bed and breakfast not bed breakfast and lunch!

the food in the park is not dire i suggest you try it instead of eating bread rolls for 2 meals a day maybe even 3
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • Hmmm. how do we end this slanging match over whether its right or wrong to nick stuff from the breakfast buffets?????

ive tried more or less every place to eat in the park, and find the menus very limited. The choices are either full on meals, or cake - there are no inbetween places, where you can get something cold/savoury (other than the trainstation)

as for eating bread rolls 2-3 times a day, did you read my post, where i said, we only have rolls for lunch. now i know my maths aint that hot, but to me thats once a day!

no i did not see that post, also maybe did you consider my posts was not aimed at you?

i just dont see the point spending all that money to go on holiday if you cant afford to make it a holiday / treat, if you cant afford a few euros for lunch maybe you shouldnt be going away?

Trouble is, it is not a few Euros as you put it is it. Lunch is at least £25+ depending on how many kids you have. We actually have 3 kids so in effect you are talking £40+. Now x that by 3 days and that is £120....

Now as far as i am concerned i wouldn't spend that on my whole shopping budget for a week, let alone a few lunches. FYI yes we could afford to pay that for lunch if we wanted to, but a fool and their money etc etc etc. I would rather pinch a few rolls, have a light lunch after a heavy breakfast and come back for the main meal and stuff myself then. :D

If you don't agree that is fine, spend your money on lunches and have a great time..! :D
  • whats best place to stay near Disneyland? As prices on Eurodisney website seem expensive for the Disnet hotels. also would like to spend 2 days in paris sighseeing maybe 1 by excursion and 1 day via Metro...

This sounds exactly what I'm after I think, although I'd love to spend 2 days at a disney resort and then 2 days in central paris to do some sightseeing.

On the disney website it's come to £448 for 2 nights and 3 days worth of passes, although we'd only use 2 days of going to parks. This seems like a lot for 2 people. But it seems the park hopper for 3 days is £119, leaving about £120 per person per night for the hotel cost, which is much much more than what I'd normally pay.

I also couldn't see check in times, but I was going to assume they'd be latish around 3? Is there somewhere to store bags so you can visit the park before check in?
