Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • hmm I would say £100 a day would be enough for meals, souvenirs and snacks. Maybe take a extra £200 on top of this budget :)

My company deals heavily with booking Disneyland Paris

We use the disney system to get the costs and try and find the cheapest form of transport for the partys travelling.

On some dates I have noticed that some properties are not showing the meals for free when others are. I dont know why this is.

Sometimes its worth just checking the next hotel up and usually the meals are included.

I get alot of calls from customers getting quotes from other operators and the prices are alot higher than ours, I dont understand this as I assumed all agents would have direct Disney access.

Alls I would say is shop around for your prices as I save hundreds somtimes from people quotes

I just come back last week from DLP, disney paid for 19 of us to travel and stay for 2 nights, I have been in all the hotels so any help I can be just give me a shout

    Thanks

    Hi

I am thinking of taking the family to disney at the beginning of January. I priced it up on the Disney website and got the kids under 12 stay n play free offer, but it wouldn't seem to give me the free meals offer too. Yet I am sure it is meant to I was thinking of going from 3rd Jan-6th Jan (3nts) Wouldn't I get the free meals in these dates?

Also I wanted to go by Eurostar. Am I right in thinking it is better/cheaper for me to book Eurostar myself, also is there parking at the train station?

    Any advice welcome.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Yes, it's much cheaper to book the eurostar yourself separately but then please, please, please phone Disney up and add "Disney Express" at £10 per adult for your stay. This means you can drop your bags off at the station and go straight to the parks. On the last day you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later after going to the parks.
  • Just back from DLP after a fab 4 days - sun even shone every day! All fab. We also used Easy Pass for the first time as my son has recently got has been diagnoised with autism. We didn't need to use it much as it was pretty quiet the first days, but we gave it a few tries, and the staff were really great. My son talked to characters for the first time - he wouldn't go anywhere near them before. Woody and Pinocchio were his favourite.
Be the change you want to see :j

  • Brumming - what is the Easy Pass please, I am taking my autistic son too. Is it the same as Guest Assistance Pass or has it changed? What does it give you? I am dreading it as I know it is going to be packed but we had to go that weekend. I've just bought a Major buggy to take with me, did you take one? Did you take all of your letters/DLA forms/Blue Badge??

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I am organised, I hate taking stuff if I do not need to. Ta.

Just a quick heads up if you work for the nhs. If you go through the nhs discounts website you get upto 50% off with the kids under 12 Or 7 ( i forget which it is now) for cheaper if you book at sequia lodge + Half board in jan then you would if you went straight to the site and did the free meals option.

    2 x Adults 1 X Child @ Sequoia Lodge...
jan through the nhs site is a total of £475 with the Half Board option selected, For 3 Nights/4 days.

Through the disney site without the promotion is £570 with the kids under 12 and eat free option.

So if you work for the nhs, go through the discounts site.

The free meals option gives you vouchers for lunch and dinner, the half board is just an evening dinner only so bear this in mind too.
