    Hi

I seem to be going round in circles tying to work out the cheapest way for a family to travel from CDG to Disneyland Paris. The shuttle seems to be more expensive than the TGV (am I correct?) but is there a cheaper way as the TGV is coming out at approx £100 return. Would a taxi be about the same? or is the metro cheaper (Can't seem to find prices for this).
Many Many Thanks for any help

when we were looking the tgv was coming out cheaper or same price as the vea shuttle. according to disneyparis brits guide taxis work out at between 70 -100 euros depending on time/traffic etc

We took a taxi from CDG to DLP and it was 70 euros each way. We had a dedicated taxi, so just us (a family of 4). It was an excellent service and prompt pick ups. The vehicle was a small mini bus type car and very comfortable. We walked out of the terminal to the taxi and dropped off outside the door to the hotel (NPB) This was a March weekend this year.
I think it was the blue airport shuttle company, there are many others.
  • Hi, we are going to euro disney next weekend for 3 days. Does anyone know if i can use an adult park ticket for a child? a friend gave us one that she didn't use and its still in date. Unfortunatly we already have all the adult tickets we need but we still have to buy 2 childrens tickets. Many thanks

Whoo, last night we booked for 2 nights/3 days in Hotel New York for 28th November. Not been to that one before as it is too expensive but it was all that was left, going 1st class on the train too, it was only £580 rtn for 2 adults 2 kids.

    Happy days!!

Booked Eurostar seperately on their site, to let you know that you can choose the seat you want to sit in on the train, and Expedia for the Hotel. DO NOT book the train as part as a package if buying the hotel via DLP/Expedia, do it seperately on the eurostar website, they wanted to charge us £800 for tickets that cost £180 last time. The exact same ttrain and class.

Then once you have your tickets call DLP (number on the brochure) and tell them you want to book the Disney Express (£14 for adults, kids free) so you can collect your tickets and leave your cases at the station.

Got around £100 back on Quidco too!!
  • Hi,
I know it is a little late in the day but I wanted to let you all know about a fan event we are holding in Disneyland Paris on the 4th-6th December 2009.
The event is entitled Mousemeets and it is an opportunity to meet like minded Disney fans and enjoy some great attractions, trivia and history walks.
If you are in Disneyland Paris during these dates or fancy coming and joining us then you can find out more at our Disneybrit website. The event guide is available as a download on the Disneybrit Podcast iTunes feed and should be appearing on the website over the next few days.
Hope to see some of you there!!

    Yes, I believe you can
  • Hello everyone,

Have never posted on this site before. Myself and my partner have been saving for 2 years to take our 4 children aged 3 to 13 to eurodisney. We have decided to go in the february 2010 school holidays. I just don't know where to start on finding the best deal and really don't want to get ripped off after saving so hard!!

Any advice would be really greatly appreciated! Our only restrictions are we don't want to drive there and we want a hotel fairly close to the park.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Right then. Booking directly with Disney has always been the cheapest for me and many other members on here. I would start with disneylandparis.co.uk and price up everything there - excluding transport. Check eurostar prices on eurostar.com - add them up! All the hotels are within 15 mins walk but if you want to be right in the heart of the action Disneyland Hotel is what you'll want - it is right above the park entrance. It is extremely over priced though. I would recommend any hotel BUT Santa Fe which is a 15-20 mins walk. The Newport Bay CLub is the best in terms of price/service/distance in my honest opinion.

Also if you book now you'll get free meals for your stay! Food is where most budgets disappear off too.

Depending where you are in the country you may want to fly instead but beware as it can costs you as much as 150 euros (for 4 people) return in transfers from the airport.

The disney website to book is http://hotels.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml
  • My family of 5 Adults & 3 Children booked with Siesta Holidays, for December staying in The Newport Bay Club for 3 Nights with passes to both the park & studios. We thought we met the booking criteria for 'free meals' but we have now been told that as they are an independent travel agent they are not included for any offers. If we had known that we would have booked through a different travel agents, we now have to get together extra spends to cover the meals we thought were included! Gutted is putting it lightly.

Just to add, disneylandparis website is not working for bookings or checking dates, look for the booking on www.expedia.co.uk and you will get the same deal prices. Go via Quidco and you'll get 7.5% cashback on the booking.

Book the flight/train direct. Train is good it takes you right to the gates of DLP. DO NOT ADD IT TO YOUR BOOKING, they charge much more than the face value of the tickets. How will you be getting there??

If getting the train call Disney after you have booked and if staying in a Disney Hotel use the 'Disney Express' for £14 a person and collect your tickets at the train station, they will then take your cases to the hotel for you.
