I went away with my family to DLP in November last year. They were running a 50% off offer at the time. Does anyone know if this is an annual thing they do for late bookings, or were we just incredibly lucky?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Hey everyone !!
I was hoping for some help guys as I am sure there are people on here who know more about Disneyland than me
At the moment Im thinking of staying at the Radisson.
But I have a couple of questions:
Does anyone know what time the first free shuttle bus starts in the morning? And the last one?
If Im going to be staying at the Radisson, I need to buy Disneyland tickets (probs for 2/3 days) myself (fair enough), but I was hoping maybe if I choose to stay at one of the Disney parks, I would get a better deal as entrance tickets are included?
At the moment I have got a quote of 180 euros for 3 nights in December B&B (without Disney parks tickets)
Also, one more, Does anyone know if there are any one-day excursions to Paris from Disneyland? And how much this is?
Thanks a lot , looking forward to your replies.....excited already !!! :T0 -
Hi
My hubby and I with our 2 kids are off to Disney next month. We're staying at la croix du vieux pont with thomson alfresco for 7 nights and are planning to make a day trip to Disney.
I am looking for cheap entrance tickets for disney, but can't seem to find any deals on them anywhere. I'm only looking for 1 day passes, nothing major...but there doesn't seem to be any special offers out there.
Anyone found anything different?
I can't help with your 1 day pass, but just wanted to say, that we love La Croix Du Vieux Pont. We stayed there in June 2008, and are staying there in the easter holidays next year. We go with Canvas, and have booked their Disney 3/4 day pass for a family of 4 for £400.
For a day out, go to Pierrefonds, its a beautiful village, and the castle there is where they filmed the BBC series, Merlin. We visited by chance when they were filming the first series, its a lovely castle, and there's plenty of resonably priced restaurants for lunch.

Hi Rachie
Could you tell me roughly how long it takes you to drive from the campsite to Disney?
Also, I have no idea what time the evening parade is??? Would it be possible to see that and then drive back to campsite? Would you have to park off site and walk back in, I know they shut the gates around 10pm??
Sorry to bug you, just trying to get a few things sussed out!
Thanks

This is a large shopping mall with a seperate designer outlet.
http://www.valdeurope.fr/106-13524-Val-d-Europe.php
The hypermarket is huge and is open until 10pm so we used to nip in there after visiting Disney to top up our drinks, food etc.
You can also get 10% off booklet for the outlet if you have an annual pass but the shops are expensive.
There is also a large area with restaurants, McDonalds etc.
What I really like is that there are several areas with chairs grouped together for the weary shopper to take a break. I wish that there was more of that here.
Hi fishingcinema, I echo what Sheila has said here. we went to disney last november and stayed in the Val D'Europe Hotel which is just across the road from the shopping centre. It is MASSIVE and very posh! It has leather armchairs and wicker armchairs to sit down on, not just benches, and it has a road train to get from one side to the other, its that big!! we loved it, its on 2 floors, the shops are a little steep but it depends what you want to buy really, and has a massive supermarket in it if you are going self catering or want to take sandwiches etc into the park, believe me there is only so many hot dogs and chips you can take really!! there is a courtesy bus that stops in the park bus station, at this time of year it only goes once an hour but its worth it. just get on, dont have to show any passes or anything. it stops just outside the hotel Val D'Europe (which is the last stop) and all you do is cross the road, simples! The bus stop to come back is exactly opposite where you get off.
There is an outlet as well but we didnt go there as were shattered from walking around the shopping centre part. There is a lovely food court as well, we ate at the Italian restaurant one night.
ps one tip when you are in the park, if you get completely pigged off with chips everyday (and believe me you probably will!) there is a lovely restaurant that not many people know about. Its called Plaza Gardens which is at the end of Main street on the right hand side. If you are staying in a Disney hotel or one of the affiliates, you can go in firs thing in the morning, pre book a table here and jump the queue!! It was 19.95E last year, this was for an all you can eat 3 course buffet, drinks were added on top. To give you a comparison of price, we went to Annettes Diner in the Disney Village the day before and had an all day breakfast and a cup of tea and that was 18E just for that!! So for 3 courses and you could go back as many times as you wanted, it is well worth it. If we had found it sooner we would have eaten there everyday!!!!You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
