Hello all
I am looking to book a summer break for Eurodisney.
Heres the rub, I have 7 kids. So thats 9 of us inc me and the wife.
Who do you all book with? Direct or package?
Any ideas for my set up? Would need interconnecting rooms, or a house hire.
Thanks
Bozo
We find booking Eurostar direct and a Disney hotel through Disney the cheapest but we are only three and we go in the quiet times so that probably isn't much help.
I'm not sure if they have interconnecting rooms tbh...?
Have you looked at Davey Crockett? I can't remember how many they sleep but I'm sure there was a double bed settee in the sitting room and a double and bunk in the bedroom. How old is your youngest? Small enough for a cot?
You need a car for DC though - would you be driving?0 -

Hi thanks we had a great time our transfers were pre booked by our travel agent for the vea shuttle bus you can pre book online or pay the bus driver when you get on its approx 30-40 mins drive and costs 17€ per ad and 13€ per child under 3 is free each way and drops you at the hotel door.
Hope this helps0 -
Did you get the scary Bell Boy by the lifts - dd didn't know whether to take him seriously or not! he kept taking one or two people in and out of queues and moving people around, and was generally quite intimidating (acting, of course, not really!)
Ha, ha, I bet you mean the one with a bit of a lisp and funny eye?! He was funny, just when you thought he'd gone he'd pop his head back round to stare at you, and when asking you to check your seatbelts he'd say 'check, check, check'.
He really enjoys his job!If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -
was the hotel quiet or busy? we are staying their in 3 weeks time, cant wait!
reading all the trip reveiws makes me wanna be there now
Hi was busy in the morning at breakfast we chose the 8am sitting but the dining room is huge we always found a table and found the staff most helpfull and nothing they could'nt cope with.0 -
Please can someone give me some advice.
We are looking to book - there are 2 adults and 3 children under 12 -ages 6, 8 & 9(with regards the offer on at the moment they are free)
There are limited hotels that take 5 people so we were looking at the most expensive - the Disneyland Hotel - it just says you get a larger room for more than 4 people, so I was wondering what the sleeping arrangements are? (also with current offer you seem to get a night free)
Also I think we would add half board - does this mean you can eat anywhere or just at the hotel you are staying at?
This is our first trip - is 4 nights enough? We havent had a holiday for over a year and want to make this one right!0 -

Have a look here for the half board options:

We just had the standard one but we are simple souls when it comes to food. We ate at the Chuck Wagon, as we were staying there, and it was an all you can eat buffet including a drink.
If you get the more expensive ones, you save more in the restaurants and can include a character meal too.
Check out the site above for hotel advice (they have a forum too) and also http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=77
They are very helpful on both sites and know all there is to know about DLP!
We went for three nights last time but I preferred the four nights we've just had there tbh. It's enough to see it all without racing around.0 -
we went a few years ago 2 adults and 3 children and stayed at my travellers explorers. There were 2 double beds and a small room off with bunk beds.0

:j only two weeks till we go,feel like im going to burst as my dd thinks we are flying down to london for work...cant believe ive not let slip where we are really going, our first family holiday abroad so hopeing everything goes ok.
just a few quick questions...
do the staff and people around disney talk english?(i know it sounds obviouse they will but still worry about the answer..lol)
is it easy to find your way to the train station at the airport?
do you think the park will be busy at the begining of feb?
is it really expensive?
i know there prety straight forward questions but up to now ive only ever taken the kids to buttlins full board so this seems really worrying to me..lolwins so far..aug.....virgin vie earings,£525 paintball voucher,Kyle xy season 1,family portrait £300,rizla bag.September.... Bottle of 18year old whisky £32.99, tickets to the airshow, Red letter experiance day, baby tippytoes play mat. ESP swag bundle.October...zoey101 neckless, collectable dog toy.0 -
I can answer some of your questions, most people speak english so no problems there,we went in feb 2 years ago and it wasn t packed as it is in the warmer months but it is very cold so definately get thermals.Yes it is expensive especially just now with the exchange rate. when we last went two years ago it was app 5 euro for a hot dog, 12 euro for a burger meal, and 23 euro for an adult 10 euro for a child in the all you can eat buffets so the half board option is the best. I am interested in your question regarding the tgv and airport as this is the first time when we go that we have flown and had to make our own transfers.0

would you be driving ? if so consider staying offsite in an apartment in val d'europe area, only a few mins drive to disney
would be MUCH cheaper than any of the disney accomodations, with so many of you and in peak season too
some of the hotels have interconnecting rooms, but even then dont think they accomodate 9 in total
it will be expensive no matter where you stay, not only for the accomodation but food aswell for 9 of you
