Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi Jasburns
I have been to DLP every year for the past 10 years and stayed many times at Sequioa Lodge. Its a great hotel, but we never once made use of any of the extra facilities, like swimming pool etc... as the Parks are so great, we spent all day in them both, and never got opportunity to swim.
For this reason, we always save a few quid now and book up Hotel Cheyenne. Rooms are identical in size and its also a great hotel.
Not sure about CDG travel sorry. We always drive all the way by car.
Hope this helps
regards

Hi there
Does anyone have a direct email address, or know where I can find one for either the Hotel Cheyenne, or Disneyland Paris Guest Services?
I have a phone number, but I just keep getting passed from pillar to post, so thought it might be easier to email them.
OR,
Does anyone have any advice on how to get extra special attention from the staff and characters for your kids?
basically, my 5 yr old daughter has to have quite a major operation about 2 weeks before we go in this coming February half-term, and she should be recovered in time, but may get tired faster than normal.
Was hoping to get some extra special attention for her, maybe a ride in a float for the parade, or anything a little bit different, if I explain in advance to the staff what she has just been through?
if anyone has advice, it would be much appreciated
cheers

Hi
Hoping someone can advise me. We are going to Disneyland Paris towards the end of the summer. I have done a lot of research on the hotels etc & I think we are going to choose to stay in the Sequoia Lodge. However I am unsure about thebest way to get to the hotel from CDG airport, I have read that various people believe the TGV is the best option with a young child. Expensive but quick I believe. Can anyone please advise how easy is it to use this service, is it's terminal easily found at the airport & where can you buy tickets in advance - is there an easy to use website for the tickets.
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi, we used the TGV on a recent visit to Disneyland with a toddler and 5 year old and found it great. You can buy tickets online at www.tgv.co.uk but we booked them at the airport as we were worried about our flight being delayed, and tickets then not being valid. This was easy to do, just need to follow the signs and make sure you are in the right queue once at the station.
Train timetable is on the tgv site, trains seem to be about every hour. It cost 37.5 euros for 2 adults and child single tickets, which didn't seem to be much more expensive than getting the RER train, and much much quicker in about 12 mins. We flew into terminal 2 and the station is also in 2, but a bit of a walk (we did it in about 15 mins as we were rushing to catch the train). We also got the TGV from disney to the airport (brought tickets from a machine at the RER/TGV station) and the only issue was people had crammed loads of luggage into the doorways so it was a squeeze to get on. Trains were also running a bit late, so again we had to rush at the other end (then wait 4 hours for a delayed flight but that is another story...)
You can leave luggage at the station or in the parks if you want to go straight into disney, or get the hotel shuttle bus from just outside the station, and there is also some kind of disney express luggage service but we have not used that as we stayed offsite.
Hope you have a great holiday.Jan 2013 GC 0/250

Hi Jas, We're going to DLP on Monday and i've booked the TGV over the coach option because we didn't fancy a 45 min journey with a toddler and it actually worked out cheaper for our family (2 Adults, 9 yr old, 7 yr old and 2 yr old) to take the TGV £81 in total compared to 117 euros for the coach.
I booked the tgv on here and it was in £'s. (don't for get quidco)
But you can always compare it to the coach prices here. Not sure about taxis though but i know thats an option some people have used.

Im sure you wont, but do let me know what its like as Im thinking of staying there or the cheynne.
It may just be me having "high standards" as dh puts it. But my hotel was a grotty b&b in MLV, Torcy and even my dh who doesnt mind slumbing it wasnt impressed with it.

I dont think they allow children to ride on the float for safety reasons? Altho disabled / sick children didnt have to que for rides and character meets they could just walk upto the front.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Only read through the last 20 or so pages so forgive me if this has been asked before. We're off to Davy Crocket ranch in May this year, flying into CDG and picking up hire car. Unfortunately we don't land until 6.00pm on a Sunday. Will there be anywhere to get food lateish on a Sunday night?
Had planned on going to the supermarket at Val d'Europe but looks like this will be shut.0 -

yes there should be
all the restaurants in the Disney Village will be open, and there is even a Deli type Diner place that does baguettes until late. There are also a couple of baguette places inside the train station, which is right next to Disney Village.
u should be able to just hop on the disney shuttle bus to and from the village and davy crocket (5mins i think) and go pick up some baguettes if you dont want to drag the whole family out after the flight..Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
