Hey everyone ,
Myself & my partner are heading to Eurodisney for our first time on the 13th of Feb for 3 nights
We fly into Charles De Gaulle ,our hotel is 1.5 miles from the Disney Train Station ,i assume we can get a train easy enough from Charles De Gaulle to there easy enough ???
Any idea how much it will cost also ?
Thanks

hi, we are going on 25th Feb for two nights for my daughters birthday treat. I want to book one of the character dining experiences. I have looked the the website and the one I am interested in is dinner at cafe mickey. The cost is £21 for adults and £11 for kids, does anyone know what you get for that, is there a set menu you eat from and does it inlcude drinks. Do the characters come out all of the time or at set times during the day.
Has anyone had the birthday tea for £13 in the lucky nugget?
Many thanks0 -

cafe mickey is 3 courses for the adults and the children get a main and a desert buffet. the characters come out every lunch time and evening and walk around and interact loads with both adults and kids. after each 1 has been round the tables they go out and a new character comes in! I highly recommend this we all loved it and was in there for over an hour!
I suggest going at lunch time as we found this the quietest time, we got there at 12.30 and it was really queit and got busy around 1.30ish as we were leaving, which meant more character time for us!
I think its something like 30 euros for adults and 16 euros for children which maybe more than £21 etc due to the poor exchange rate.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

If you are using half board vouchers, you can have a character meal in the Lucky Nugget, I believe.
Most people like Cafe Mickey. We walked past there last week, at about 8pm, and it was very busy but the characters seemed to be spending a good while at each table.
It's very expensive though - you are looking at £30 a head for adults and £16 for children with the current exchange rate! :eek:0 -

Food wise, you will be paying £10-15 for a counter service burger and fries with drink type meal in the park, but it is cheaper at Maccy Ds (about £6-7 for a meal there).
For a buffet, or table service meal, you need to budget for at least £25 a head for a meal and one drink - considerably more in many restaurants.
A small hot chocolate/coffee is between £2-3 and a cold drink is similar in price.
Popcorn is about £3 for a small box, if I remember rightly.
Is that the sort of prices you wanted?
There is some posts about the train from CDG a few pages back on this thread - tells you exactly what to do. I can't remember who posted them now but it was a couple of week ago.
You may find it cheaper to eat off site if you are staying elsewhere.0 -

thanks Emweaver and Bestpud. I booked through the sun offer and didn't know about the half board option. There are 6 of us so we are staying in the explorers, do you think if I call the park I will be able to add the half board option on.0

You can add them later but have to be staying in a Disney Hotel as far as I am aware.
If they do a buffet breakfast at explorers, I suggest taking a few extra rolls and keeping them for lunch. Lots do this in the Disney hotels but I don't know how easy it is in the other ones.
It is food that will really bump up the cost for you.
You can substantially reduce the cost by taking snacks and drinks with you. We took some instant hot chocolate powder and made up a flask every day. We also took a bottle of squash and had small bottle each that we made up in the morning.
At this time of year, some restaurants allow children under 7 to eat free (there may be limited times for it in some though), so it may be worth checking that out. Otherwise go for the buffet options which are all you can eat (some include a drink as well) and just have a small snack in the day?
If you have a car, some people eat off site but I have never looked into this much.0 -

we go every year, and the way we look at it is - you gotta eat, right?
its going to be expensive rubbish wherever you go!
Cafe Mickey, Planet Hollywood, Rain Forest Cafe all work out pretty much the same per head.
You're there for the kids....
...SO, If you/the kids want to see characters, you might as well go to Cafe Mickey - see characters at your table, all for the same price per head as the other restaurants.
have done lucky nugget lunch, and thought it was a bit expensive for the food, but did get good quality time with the characters
hope this helpsPlease take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
