    HELP newbie to Disneyland Paris

Planning to go 20th May approximately 6 days but flexible want to include at least one day in Paris 2 adults and three children (10,10 and 11 months). Driving. Would prefer 2 bed accommodation not all in one room. Should we aim to do Paris at the weekend and parks during the week. Where to stay for best value but good accommodation and what park tickets should we buy. Would really appreciate some help as getting very confused at all the deals,

at that time of year you're not going to need any more than 4 days maximum (all midweek of course, avoid DLP on every weekend) for the parks at DLP themselves.

Are you going to drive there? If so, you could get a good deal for the Davy Crockatt ranch (especially if you can find an under-12s go free deal on any of the official versions of the DLP website - try different countries). You need a car here, as there is no other transport option from the DCR to the parks at DLP.

There are no other onsite options for you if you want to sleep in different rooms, as all the onsite hotels have beds for 4 (plus an infant) in them as standard, and booking 2 rooms onsite would be expensive.

If you want to be offsite but nearby, you can buy fantasy annual passes for park tickets and stay in an apartment in val d'europe (lots of transport options from there, some areas in val d'europe are even walkable from DLP).

I have no advice to give regarding visiting Paris while you are there, I'm firmly in the Disney bubble every time I go there ;).
  • Hi folks. Was thinking of squeezing a 4 night break in for DLP in august. Seen a link online for the french website so priced it up through that, came in at €883 (£697) for 2A 3chidren (age 5,2 and2) this is for the plaza room, is this legit. I priced it up through the uk site and came in at almost £1500 with halfboard. Thanks.

no, I think the price would be more like 1,883 euros (I just priced up the last week of August going into September for your party for the HNY, at it came up with a price of 1,626 euros for the plaza room, on the official DLP website).
  • Yes i know. Lol. Posted on the dibb forum with a screen shot of the details and someone pointed out there was a 1 before the €.... so read as 1€883, should have shown as €1883. Thanks
  • Hi, really need some advice as bit confused! We are holidays get in France in August, we are hoping to tag on 2/3 days at Disneyland Paris at the end of the trip as a surprise . What is the cheapest way of doing this? Had s look on the Disney website and it was coming up around £709 at Davy Crockett ranch and includes park tickets. There is a 30% off deal so price would have been £1029. There are 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 children (12, 8 and 5). 29-31 August. Is it with staying outside park. We won't tag on if it's too expensive.

    Any advice appreciated.
    Thank you

You can get 5 annual fantasy passes for a total of £551.00 from discount-ticket-store.com.

You would need to get three adult and two child passes. You may then be able to find cheap 2 night self catering accommodation off site from various villa/apartment websites. Example homeaway.co.uk.

If like us you love DLP once you get there you may want to go again later in the year. If so subject to the blackout dates listed on the website you would only have to pay for accommodation next time.

  • Thank you, that sounds like a very good deal! Just be on their website but they only have 2 adult passes left....hope that changes! Thank you

If not then you get 20% off i.e 1 pass free, if you buy for 5 people who live at the same address
At the present exchange rate that will be £574

    http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/annual-passeports/

Also the passes at the discount ticket store have to be activated by 20th July i.e you must go there before that date.

They do rooms at the Residhome Val D'europe for 5 , 1 double, 1 double sofa bed and 1 single sofa bed.

They have a small kitchen/lounge area , are right by the Val D'Europe with a huge Auchan supermarket. Also right opposite the train station which is one stop away from the park, or there is a bus that also takes you straight there. It saves a fortune to buy your own food and drinks as park prices are expensive.

Cost for hotel £177 but the passes will be ok for a year and it is their 25th Anniversary celebration next year, which should be good. Disney is also the best place at Christmas as the snow, parades etc are magical.

    Thanks balletshoes

You are the expert so this is my question

I want to buy annual passes for our visit 31st August - 3rd September. The offers on here finish in July and there is some question as to whether any purchased through ce-multiadvantages, promoparcs etc will be honoured. Do you know when will the new deals for passes will be available?

We only need 4, with one child age 11, one 15, my daughter 36 and me 65.

It seems that the classic pass would be ok for those dates but could only be used for the 1st day, which won't work for our trip.
However we could fit in any other visits within the time frame for that pass.

Any ideas or tips would be appreciated :)
