One quick question if I buy the classic annual passes online on the french website and have them delivered to my home address does that mean that they would be valid for all dates of my trip (except blackouts) and avoid the 2 day restriction after the date of purchase
no, not by online purchase, you can only avoid the 2 day restriction if you order your Classic annual passes through the post with DLP themselves.
eta - and if you're going next month you need to be posting those applications off now, to ensure you get them back to your home address in time for your trip.0 -
Hi,
I know i'm leaving this really late, but i'm thinking of taking the family to DLP in August.
It will be myself, the wife and two kids (5 and 2).
I have looked briefly and this is what i have come up with...
Travel -
Eurostar from St Pancras --> Lille --> DLP (I get 30% off Eurostar tickets so this makes sense)
Accommodation -
4 nights in Explorers Hotel
Tickets -
I was thinking about buying Annual Passes so we can use them again next summer (maybe at some other point also)
Am i missing anything here?
Thanks,0 -
offsite with annual passes may work well for you - but I'd check onsite too, as your 5-year old stays free onsite, and get a free duration-of-stay park ticket included.0

Slightly OT but Im sure someone knows please?
If you wanted to take a day off from DLP to view paris is there any sensible priced trips?

I did look onsite but the price seemed to be a lot more and couldn't really see a benefit? What do i get by staying on site that i wouldn't get by staying off site?0 -

Did you say Dream rather than Fantasy for a reason as it was the Fantasy ones i was looking at? Is it only the extra blackout days and extra discount in the shops that is the difference?
Thanks,
yes, fantasy are also perfectly fine as long as you can work around the blackout dates.0 -
Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times over and I apologise but I'm quickly trying to book a last minute break at the end of May. I've noticed a few people mention that it's cheaper to book via the French Disneyland site. I'm hoping to book the Davy Crockett Ranch and appears to be a saving of £250 for the 4 nights we are looking at.
Firstly, Do I simply just book online via the French site with my British address and it's as easy as that? I noticed that an article mentioned not being able to with a UK address.
Secondly, it mentions it's breakfast only but breakfast is not included at Davy Crockett. Is it included or totally not available?
Lastly, It states that you have access to the car parks but the UK site states it's free parking. Is it also free when booked through the French site?
So sorry for all of the questions, 3 young kids and so little time to sit here and research, your help is greatly appreciated!Wins to date: Pair of tickets to the Diamond Jubilee garden party & concert 2012. A Persil bunny.0 -
Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times over and I apologise but I'm quickly trying to book a last minute break at the end of May. yes, put in your own address but don't try to change the country, leave it at France, and you'll have no problems at all booking the deal. You will get your booking confirmation in French, but again, no problem presenting this at check-in - as soon as the staff at reception hear you speaking English, they will check you in in English.
I noticed that an article mentioned not being able to with a UK address -
this is only for park tickets booked through certain French agents, not the official DLP one.
Secondly, it mentions it's breakfast only but breakfast is not included at Davy Crockett. Is it included or totally not available?
no breakfast is included at the Davy Crockett, and theres no option to purchase one, but there are places you can get breakfast on your way into the parks in the morning (in the Village area).
Lastly, It states that you have access to the car parks but the UK site states it's free parking. Is it also free when booked through the French site?
yes, the main car park is free to anyone staying at the Davy Crocketts ranch, regardless of how they booked in there.
So sorry for all of the questions, 3 young kids and so little time to sit here and research, your help is greatly appreciated!
hope this helps0
