Hello,
I have never been to DLP before, we are looking to go the last week of the august '17 school holidays for 2 adults, 1, 7 years old and a 1 year old. Just wondering if anyone has any hints or tips of what to look for? I know the dates for the hotels are not really out yet but want to be prepared lol
Thanks in advance :-)0 -

you can check prices/hotels/dates etc for this year (2016) on the official DLP site to get an idea of what it may cost next year. Source your travel separately and book it direct yourselves (you can use Tesco clubard to get Eurotunnel free if that suits you).0 -
Wow, I first came on this thread in 2012 when planning our first trip to DLP which was in May 2013. We travelled by Eurostar from Ashford, stayed at the Explorers and bought annual passes through ce multiavantages (which were free for under 7s at the time).
We then went back in April 2014 to make further use of our annual passes and stayed at the Dream Castle booked as a lastminute.com 'secret' hotel. Eurostar again from Ashford.
Anyway, Balletshoes, you are still here providing invaluable advice for people !
I'm back on here to plan a possible trip for easter or May half term in 2017 (2 adults and 2 daughters who'll be 8 and 5 by then). I think I'm too early for any deals yet but I'm keeping an eye on things and soaking up Balletshoes (and others') superb advice :-). I'm pleased to see that we will get to be part of the 25th anniversary celebrations; we were there for the tail end of the 20th.0 -

I'm planning for very early July 2017, hopefully onsite, with an 8-year old too, so if I see anything get down to below my budget for this year (so that I know when to look to book next year), I'll let you know.
eta - spooky - the French version of the official DLP site has a flash sale now, up to 45% off and kids under 12 free, book by 29th feb for stays up to end April this year, so that might work for you if a similar deal comes out next year at this time.

Thanks as ever Balletshoes. I would never leave it anywhere near this late to book for April, however!0 -

I would(with a back-up plan of fully-cancellable offsite hotel and buying annual passes option).

Mmm, I like your thinking0 -
Hi
We are looking to go to Disneyland on 30th or 31st August for 3 nights as the French schools will have gone back by then.
I am trying to find suitable accommodation that isn't too expensive but the people going are my daughter (36), grandson (15) but 6ft 1 , granddaughter (11) and myself (65). None of us want to sleep in the same bed and all of the twins that I can find have beds side by side which won't suit my grandson, or me. I am up a lot at night and will need to return for a rest during the day so need to be on a bus route from Disneyland. We don't mind self catering.
I would prefer to stay near the Val D'Europe as I can take a wander to look around whilst they are on the rides. Due to back problems I have to pace myself when walking and a lot of the rides will be out but I will enjoy the parades. I've done the rides in the past anyway. The plan is that I go in for 3-4 hours a day and then do my own thing as I will only hold them up.
I have stayed at the Marriott before but there isn't any availability and it is a tad expensive at that time anyway.
If you have any ideas then please let me know?

the adagio aparthotel has both one and 2-bedroom apartments - either of those might suit your party?
