Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Ahh thank you. I added the half board plan on to our quote. It was 621 euros for 3n4d at hotel Cheyenne. Now that I know about the 14th I will look for other dates! thank you :-)
ah i see - in that case I'd book at the base price and not bother adding a half board plan - its not worth it if you have to pay for it. £460 ish is a good price for 4 of you for that time of year.0 -
balletshoes, this is what I've done so far...
2adults, 2 kids - 10yr and 7yr for 5 nights end July in dream castle with flights including hand luggage and 1checked bag each total £980 from the Midlands to CDG. Do you think that was reasonable? Already booked but I'm hoping it was? or was that rubbish
And so, I can get the rs transport for around 100 eur which I'll probably book in may but now it's tickets.
Want to go to Paris for 1 day maybe but still 3 full days left and night of arrival so I could get a 4 for 3 pass @ £118 adult £109 child but have been looking back through thread and a francillien annual pass is around £100 ?? Complicated form though
What do you think I should go with
Many thanks, your help is supercalafragelisticexpealadocious0 -

so far, i'd say you have a bargain trip to DLP booked for nearly a week in July. I wouldn't have booked more than one hold bag total, you can get loads in hand-luggage limit bags these days, but you've already done that.
Personally I'd go with one adult pass @ £118, the children's passes at £109, and then get a fantasy Annual pass when you arrive at DLP, this costs 169 euros (so around £125) but it gives you discounts on food and souvenirs for your whole party whilst at DLP, so is worth the difference in price between that and an adult 4-day pass -

remember cashback sites too, if you haven't already, for your other park tickets.0 -

So, you don't think I should get the francillien one, the block out days are okay but I know you can't use it straightaway but can it not come through the post? I totally see the logic in the pass and the savings I could make.0 -

yes, you can order the francillien annual passes for you all through the post if you prefer - this will get you fully-activated annual passes, ready to be used as soon as you arrive, sent to your home address in the UK in advance of your trip. If you want to do it that way, order them around 2 months before your trip, you'll need to send photos etc as well.0 -
I booked the flights as a package with hotel through ebookers but specifically chose air France because 1 checked bag each was free whereas Flybe charged £15-21 each checked bag but they was cheaper flights. I'll fill those bags with lots of snacks and some undiluted squash. And then if I don't fill them I'll just have to buy lots of souvenirs to get my money's worth on the return0

Great thanks, that would work out cheaper and we could even use the park on day of departure for a couple of hours. I'll have to look into it more, I caught a glimpse of the form earlier but understanding it is another matter. Do many people use these as it would be cheaper and could be used on another trip0 -

annual passes in general? yes there are many many AP holders for DLP - for me its a no-brainer to have at least one AP in our party, even if we want to stay onsite, as my DD is classed as an adult now at DLP (she is aged over 11).0 -
I'm seriously considering buying some francillien annual passes through the post. Doesn't seem to bad to do ( I hope ) and the blockout days wouldn't apply to us for our dates in July.
But it's still really nerve wracking to do. Has anyone ordered them through the post before and can say what it's like. I've managed to print off a form and it looks like from what I've read prices going up beginning April so may be best to do it before then.
So would I need one or two photos each?
Copy of passports
Do you have to photocopy credit card?
And a proof of address?
If anyone reads this and is wanting 3+ days and booking without passes these annual passes might work well and cheaper for you0 -
have a look at this thread on the DISboards for people who have been applying for Francillien APs through the post for the last couple of years
