  • i've booked through DLP many many times, and I haven't been able to find my booking details on the website at least half those times. It doesn't matter though, just print off your booking confirmation email and use that - thats the one which has what you have booked. Then call the French guest services number to make any additions/enquiries regarding your booking :).

Thanks for this, I will give them a call this weekend, although your indication that it may prove expensive hasn't filled me with hope. I may have to settle for a cheap hotel/motel nearby.

It is only to enable us to get an early start on our first morning as we plan on getting to Davy Crockett very early, checking in and then heading straight to the park.

if you're happy to take your son out of school, then the cheapest plus quietest time to go, when its still warm, is mid-September. Then its April/May/June (but watch for UK/French school holidays in this period - you can check French holidays on the About-France website).

Midweek check-in dates are always cheaper than Friday/Saturday check-ins, and avoid weekends all year round.
  • Just looking again and found 3 nights 4 days 9th march at cheyenne for 351 euros.

the flash sale prices are extremely good value for money - if you can sort out your travel etc, go for it I say :).

Thanks Balletshoes for your help so far. I know you have said you have booked through the French site many times without any problems, have you ever added on a meal plan? Even with the current UK offer booking through the French site and adding the meal plan is still cheaper but I am very apprehensive about doing it as don't wont to be disappointed on arrival if things go wrong!

Also for some reason the standard room at Newport Bay is not available for 4/5 nights but is available for 6 nights on the UK site? However the standard room is available on the French site for 4/5 nights.

If I booked and then wanted to book Cafe Mickey and Buffalo Bills as I know Cafe Mickey is included in Half Board Plus - do I have to phone a French booking number?

there is no problem adding stuff later (ie dining plan) to a booking you make on the French site (or any other country's site). You just call Guest Services in France to add anything (they speak English).

You would reserve your tables, free of charge, in the restaurants of your choice by calling the dining reservations number, when you get to a couple of weeks before your trip. When you need them, I can give you both the phone numbers, and remember as they are both French landline numbers, to use a discount dial number from your UK landline, to get the calls for 0.5p per rminute :).

Thanks Balletshoes, I probably would add the dining plan at the time of booking then assume I just call the dining reservations number to book Cafe Mickey as its included in the half board plus deal and any other restaurants I want.
