Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

My advice would be to get there early and beat the queues. I think they'll all be fairly busy with breakfast probably especially weekends but if you can be an early riser it may work really well.
That said, booking with Disney I'd hope they'd be more understanding and let you change hotel without penalty.0 -
Long as the new package costs more than the original you can change.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

Thank you, I managed to change no problem.
If I had older children I would be all for getting up extra early to beat the queues but I think it's going to be a full on tiring 5 day holiday for us with a 4 and 2 year old as is it without a big rush around as soon as I open my eyes ha!0 -
DD was 3 last year and will be 4 this time around. We're staying at SF again but we don't do breakfast together (very much not morning people). We have a system whereby I wake at 6am and get myself ready. I go to breakfast at 7am and DH and DD get ready. I grab enough breakfast for the 3 of us and take it back to the room. We leave at 7:45am to walk to the village. Starbucks at 8am for coffee then straight into the park for Magic hours. We the near breakfast when we feel ready for it.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

I read that you wasn't allowed to take breakfast back to your room. That's what I would have done to work around it too.
Ah well it's done now, quite nice to be taking them back to where I stayed as a kid anyway.0 -

Hi We went to DLP last May and are looking at doing the same thing again this year
. I have just started looking and have a couple of questions I hope someone could help me with.
I was looking at the beginning of May over the first bank holiday weekend for 3 nights (same as last year) but first thing I noticed is with current offer it's cheaper to do 4 nights but that will cause a problem with school... Also last year I booked at the end of February with the free half board/30% discount option which we did love and found very useful BUT do I assume that the current offer is a better value option than the free half board plan, if it comes along again when current deal ends soon?
Eurostar was available without too much trouble. However it looks like zone b are on holidays.. is this bad? Last year I think it was just zone A.
The other option is to go end of May in the school holidays but there are already hardly any eurostar seats left and cheapest fare is 560 return for the 4 of us..
So how easy is it to drive and any ideas roughly how much for Eurotunnel and tolls etc? Is parking free for the duration if we stay at the Sequoia for example?
Finally if I were to book hotel with disney direct and then next week the new offer is the half board etc for hardly any extra can I amend my booking (and if so, does it have to cost more to do so?).
Sorry for all the questions.. thanks so much in advance.0 -
Hi, I've heard people mention "Ilse de France" as being the French site.
Google brings up www.disneylandparis.fr. Is this where I want to start from, or is there a different site that I should go to.
The site I've found with google are doing children under 12 go free, which suits us perfectly. But just want to make sure I'm on the right site!0 -
Also, I know that some people don't think that the half board deal is very good value, but does it still get you "free" breakfast in Davy Crockett Ranch? If so, I think it would make sense for us to get it.
I notice that the basic half-board doesn't include character meals at Cafe Mickey. Can you pay the difference in cash on the days you want to eat there?
Can you use the half-board vouchers towards breakfast at Cafe Mickey?
Can you use more than one voucher in a day, or are they limited to the day that they are designed for?
Can you use the vouchers for takeaway food anywhere, or are they limited to sit down meals?0 -

yes, you've got it - for hotel and park tickets i usually look on the .fr site "autres region", and if that site gives me the better deal, i book using it.

yes it does

yes you can - but cafe mickey is now a full set menu for lunch and dinner, no a la carte anymore, so its more expensive now.
Can you use the half-board vouchers towards breakfast at Cafe Mickey?
no i'm afraid not.
Can you use more than one voucher in a day, or are they limited to the day that they are designed for?
you can use more than one voucher per day, but you can only use a maximum of one voucher per person per meal.
Can you use the vouchers for takeaway food anywhere, or are they limited to sit down meals?
the vouchers are limited to table and buffet service restaurants only, and not all restaurants at DLP are included in the vouchers scheme.0
