Also - I am trying to work out how the lunch/dinner at Caf! Mickey works? Do you have to order the set menu to have the character experience or can you order anything from the menu? Is there a certain time you have to eat to see the characters are or they always there?0

since November last year, you have to pay the set meal price per person, there is no longer an "a la carte" menu.
The characters are there for breakfast (so around 8am to around 10am) then lunch (12noon until 2.45pm) then for all the evening service (so from just after 6pm until after 11pm).0 -

zone A is fine - thats not the Parisien area, so its the least busy of the French school zones for impacting on crowds at DLP. Wrap up warm, have lots of hot drinks, and enjoy.

We have booked to go to France in May half term and will be staying at Etangs Fleuris which is a static caravan park a 30 minute drive from Disneyland Paris.
We got a great deal on the accommodation particularly with the current exchange rate and would like to take the opportunity to go to DLP for 2 or 3 days during the week.
There will 2 adults and 3 children,(4, 9 and 13). We are complete novices when it comes to DLP. What do we need to know in order to get the best out of the experience? What is the cheapest way of getting tickets? I think depending on the days we go we can be in low season which would obviously help with cost.
Also how many days do you think we would need, our daughter is 4 and very into princesses and Frozen, our older 2 are boys and I think would love to go the Studios park.
Any tips and ideas would be hugely welcome, thank you in advance0 -
Hi all
Looking to book for 4 nights / 5 days in November. Family of 4. Kids will be 4 & 7 when we travel.
We can book early for 2 days & nights free on .co.uk website but our 7 year old becomes a charge. I have a feeling if we book on the .ie ( Irish ) or .fr ( French ) sites under 12's are free but there are no early booking bonuses.
In short what site is it best to book on. ? With the Euro good it seems a shame not to take advantage.
Any advice welcomed0 -

for November (after 11th hopefully?) I would wait - there is plenty of time for good deals for your family to come out on the ie and fr websites for an onsite stay at DLP.0 -

i would definitely do 3 days instead of 2 - and if you are all family resident at the same address, you could get annual passes for possibly slightly cheaper than the cost of 3-day park tickets - have a look here for more information -
http://www.dlpguide.com/planning/booking/annual-passports/
as a family of 5, you get 20% off the cost of each AP when you buy 5 of the same type of annual pass, all at the same time, at the gates of DLP (so in effect you're getting one free).0 -
Morning everyone.
Thinking of possibly taking my family to DLP Christmas 2015, looking to stay on site so the whole package. 2 adults and 5 children ages 15, 13, 12, 11, and 18 months, can someone point me in the right direction to find some prices only I'm not sure where to go.
Thank you

okay, a couple of things to consider - the only onsite accommodation which will take all 7 of you in one "room" is the Davy Crockatt ranch - will you be driving over? If the DCR doesn't appeal, you will need to book 2 rooms in all of the other onsite hotels (you can ask for these to be interconnecting but theres no guarantees).
Also, your 18-month old obviously doesn't need a park ticket, and your 11-year old counts as a child, but all the rest of your party, for DLP purposes, are adults. Because of that, it may work out a lot cheaper for you to book one adult (and your 11-year old if a children under 12 free discount offer comes along) on a package including tickets, and then buy annual passes for the other members of your party. You can then add the other names to your hotel booking when you arrive, for only local tax (less than 1 euro per person per night now).
You still have to meet the requirements for maximum occupancy of each room though, so you'd still need to book 2 rooms onsite if you are not staying at the DCR. So if you're not going to choose the DCR, you'd book one adult, one free child aged 11, and your infant (who won't show up on the booking anyway) onto the package, and one adult onto the 2nd room on the package.
If the free kids under 12 doesn't come up for your dates (it may not if you actually intend going over christmas itself ie 24th/25th/26th December) then you'd buy the 11-year old an Annual pass too.0
