Hi, I also agree that the Kyriad wasn't great - the room was clean but very very 'tired' - this was 3 years ago. We were also put off the Explorers because of the reviews.

We stayed in the Magic Circus and it was lovely so i'd recommend there for an offsite hotel.

Hi, many thanks for taking the time to reply to me. I've seen the magic circus now on Expedia, coming up about the same price as dream castle so I'm thinking either of those sound ideal. Hadn't really looked at the Kyriad but saw it on the site page so it sounds like it's finding that bit extra cash for dream c or magic c worth it. Possibly looking into flying into CDG and then the ezyshuttle I've seen mentioned above. Pricing around £770 for 4 nts beg sept for flight and hotel and then hopper £370. Maybe £1100 - £1150 all in with shuttle? Can you get a train or bus into Paris easily from those hotels Into Paris would love to see Eiffel tower on last day

Hi, Yes - we got the train into Paris for a day trip from DLP. It was straightforward but research beforehand so that you have a vague idea of where you're going. It cost about 15 euros return per adult if I remember correctly (this was last year) and half that for a child. It took 30-45 mins.
We got the train to the Arc and walked all round Paris - it was tiring and we walked miles but it was so worth it. We got back to DLP at around 6pm and my daughter found some energy from somewhere to go to the parks where we stayed 'til 10pm. Lovely day.

Can anyone confirm that there is a McDonalds in the park and if there is what are the prices, the reason im asking is im not sure the meal plan at the park is worth it.
If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague

McDonalds is located in Disney Village. As we are not burger lovers, we have never been in, but it is definitely there.

There is a McDonalds in the village but not in either of the parks. From memory €4ish for happy meal and €7ish for extra value meal. Oh and they have free wifi too if that is of interest.

Many thanks for that. am starting to feel a lot more confident now over what to book and how to get about. Going to really research it all.

McDonalds in the Village at DLP is a little more expensive than UK prices, but nowhere near the counter-service prices inside the parks at DLP.

There is a lot of choice for food in the Village - Starbucks, Earl of Sandwich, Sports Bar, sandwich bar, Annettes Diner does take-out etc etc.

I was wondering if anyone could answer my questions please. We are off to dlp and Paris at the end of march, planning to stay in 'residhome prestige Val d europe'. I have bought tickets for 2 days at dlp, is this enough? I have read some reviews and wasn't planning to go to WD studios. I am planning to do Buffalo Bills wild west show. Is 2 days enough for the park? Also my kids are 5 and 7 and I know they will get tired if we have to do a lot of walking, is there a way round this eg wheels to hire??? T.I.A x

end of March - ie school holidays? Personally I don't think 2 days is enough time at all, especially with young children - and there is loads to do in the Studios for youngsters so I wouldn't miss that park with your children. However, if you've already bought your tickets, 2 days and one park will just have to be enough.

You can hire puschairs, but thats your only option for "wheels" - they are expensive too, 10 euros per day per pushchair. If they have comfy shoes they shouldn't really notice the amount of walking they are doing if its only for 2 days.

Buffalo Bills is a lot of fun :).
  • Not long to go now, I'm sure you'll see lots of differences compared to 20 years ago :D.
