    Hello DLP superstars!!

We went May half term a couple of years ago and the kids had an absolute ball! (ssshhh...so did we!!) we are off to stay in a site outside of paris in May and and want to take the kids as a surprise for a day. Can anyone please tell me the best way to buy day tickets? We know it will be a busy busy day and only need tickets to the main park!

Thanks, and can't wait to get this booked!

Hi, I'm planning on going to Disneyland Paris in October with partner and 2 kids but am not well travelled at all and only holiday in the UK. I have started to look at prices and want to book things individually to get the cost down and not stay in the main DLP hotels as its too expensive. Can anybody recommend any hotels, like I think is there partner hotels which we can then shuttle to DLP on. I don't think I can book the Eurostar yet, looking into it a bit would it be about April for travelling Oct half term? Where would be the best place to book a 2 day hopper ticket. I've had a Google and saw Attraction Tix for 4 people £371. Are they trustworthy.? Many thanks in advance.

attractiontix are fine to buy your tickets from, they are a legitimate agent.

Eurostar released its direct fares from the UK to DLP earlier this month, for dates up to early December this year I believe (October is certainly bookable now).

However - when in October are you thinking of going? I'm asking because if its in the last 2 weeks of October I'd advise against it altogether - as all French schools are off then too and it makes DLP a busy busy time to go.

it might be a little early to book park tickets at a good discount price for May, as traditionally the prices are looked at in April (for April to October dates) and November (for November to March dates) each year. have a look at the french (isle de france) version of the DLP site for tickets, and fnac.com

Thankyou. It's lovely to see you still helping people on this site. We used a LOT of your advice when we booked before! I will certainly have a look at those sites and will bookmark them to check frequently.

Thank you so much for your help. Was thinking of going October half term so the 26th a Monday to the Friday could go the first few days in September like around the first to the 5th if that would be a lot more beneficial. Would it be huge queues in that week of October? There's so much to think about, Haven is so easy. The DLP website was quoting Santa Fe £977 for 4 nts beg sept hotel and ticket wouldn't let me add on Eurostar to the price?, had to ring or something. That included the 2 free nights is that a good price or is it best to book separate. Do you mind if I ask what and where would you book?

yes, that week in October is one of the busiest of the whole year at DLP. early September will be quieter, even though its the end of the summer school holiday period.

i think thats very expensive to be honest. for that price you could get annual passes and stay offsite but nearby in a higher-starred hotel. you might find a better price on the French (autres region) version of the DLP site, as different countries get different offers during the year.

As you were looking for a 2-day hopper ticket, you might be as well just looking for an offsite but nearby hotel for 2 nights, and then doing something in the Disney Village on the day you don't have park tickets for (there are shops and restaurants there).

Thanks so much, so I've been looking through Expedia and the Explorers hotel which looked good enough at around £475 4nts (that was priced for Oct) and the Dream Castle really nice but was £589. Kyriad hotel was £333. This is just for hotels. Are any of those any good?

Will try and look for French DLP prices. Many thanks for that

Dream Castle or Magic Circus I highly recommend, stayed in both several times. Never tried Kyriad, was going to but trip advisor put me off. Explorers we did not like at all it was very dated and dirty when we stayed there but maybe things have changed as it was 2 years ago.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Many thanks for that, I haven't looked at any reviews yet but I don't want the Explorer or Kyriad then it's not worth the risk. Won't be able to afford to go again for a few years so although I don't expect posh I do want it clean and just nice.

Haven't seen Magic Circus but I'll have a look for that one. Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Hi, I also agree that the Kyriad wasn't great - the room was clean but very very 'tired' - this was 3 years ago. We were also put off the Explorers because of the reviews.

We stayed in the Magic Circus and it was lovely so i'd recommend there for an offsite hotel.
