Hi Jimmythewig
I didnt think Star Tours was too bad. Went on it with my sister/dad/niece 9/nephew 4. They all loved it apart from my sister but she gets motion sickness so there you go. Its more your eyes playing tricks on you I think.
I dont like the big rides/ rollercoasters but found this ok...Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Thanks Mazcabs. From a Star Wars point of view, was it any good? I don't want to put myself through hell just to see a couple of pictures of Ewoks, but if it's good then I might psyche myself up to give it a go.
Incidentally, does anyone know how long the Disneyland website takes to take your money? I booked on Wednesday using my debit card and the money still hasn't come out of my account.
Got an email thanking me for my reservation, with a client number and booking number, so presumably everything is ok?
[No sign of it on Quidco, yet, either.]0 -

I'm the opposite to Mazcabs, I LOVE the rollercoasters but I can't stand Star Tours. I come off the ride and I'm a definite shade of green, keep thinking next time it might improve (yeah I know sucker for punishment)!
If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!0 -

A tip on the rides - you can get away with hardly ever queuing. Go before 10 and the queues are very small because non-residents have to wait until after 10 to get in.
also those with Dream APs get EMH
not all rides open at this time though, only the following
Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant
Les Voyages de Pinocchio
Le Carrousel de Lancelot
Peter Pan's Flight
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Orbitron - Machines Volantes
Space Mountain: Mission 2

Due to the time frame there is not much availability left and have received quotes for the Sequola and Newport. Does anybody have any opinion on either? We are a family of 4 children 9 and 5.
Thanks in advance.
Our 4 yr old would live at Disney if she could0 -

Booking it individually only saves £16, now i'm wondering what to do? My husband says you have more protection through a company which i'm not sure is true. Any opinions on this?
Just got back from DLP, and we booked our trip entirely through the Eurostar website for both train and Disney hotel (Newport Bay). Everything went fine, so why pay an agent extra when you've effectively done the legwork already? Just use a credit card if you want some protection.

I'd love to do it as I love Star Wars, but on the guide it said it was "experienced" or something.
And I am rubbish on rides. The Buzz Lightyear (?) flying one outside was too much for me. [I don't mean the shooting one inside, I mean the flying one that goes round and round (a bit like flying Jumbos) really fast (to me!) outside.]
Don't want to go on the Star Wars ride and get scared !!!!less, but also don't want to miss out if I could cope with it...
This is a great ride - basically a flight simulator, you get moved about with the screen effects. My wife enjoyed it and she will not get on anything even mildly scary!:beer:0 -

Dont want to spoil it for you but definately no sign of any Ewoks from what I remember, try more like a Death Star and a space battle against the Empire....Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0
