2 more sleeps till we go....wahooooo (think im more excited than the kids!)

wheres the best place to buy a couple of autograph books at disneyland? thanks

almost every shop in the resort (hotels, Village, both parks) sells the autograph books and chunky pens :).
  • its a good offer if you only need one or 2 days park tickets.

Has anyone brought tickets from the FNAC site before? any problems?

most of it is in French! :)

FNAC are perfectly legitimate - and a French ticket agent so it would be in French first :).

Balletshoes, you seem to be the Disneyland Guru!

Do you think I can get the park tickets any cheaper elsewhere?

It comes up to 70 Euros for 2 days 2 parks per person.

If not, I am going to order the tickets tonight as the offer runs out shortly. Sorry to be a pain! :)

no, you won't get them cheaper than that :) - although - how many children are going with you, and how old are they? there may be a better combination if you have children.

eta - was looking at the child-goes-free Francillien tickets, sold on both the French DLP site and fnac, but those tickets are only for visits up to 31st March, so I don't think they'd work for you? Unless you want to buy one set of 35 euros tickets for one adult, then wait and see if the Francillien tickets with free child opens up after the end of March?

waiting for more tickets to come on sale for May isn't really going to save you much money then, as only your 6 and 4 year olds count as children for DLP tickets.

I'd just go for the 35 euros tickets myself :).

Thank you for your advice, better book the tickets before the offer expires

Seems straight forward to book on the Fnac website?

    Hi all.

I would just like to say a huge thank you for posting advice and answering questions. I have just returned home and had a fab time with my 2 little ones.
We stayed at the Sante Fe my boy is Cars mad so was chuffed to bits when he saw the place. It was a 15 minute stroll in which we did every day as the weather was fine.
It wasn't as busy as I had expected being the half term holidays, the longest que was to see the Princess at the Pavilion I queued for 1 hour while the kids went off on some rides but apart from that we rode everything we wanted to and some twice.
None of the rides we wanted to go on where out of action so we were really pleased. Dreams was amazing 8pm it started not 10pm as I had told my hubby!! Whoops can't remember everything!
The park is very expensive for everything! So glad you mentioned about the Esso garage at the back of the hotel this was a god send for juice, snacks etc.
We flew into CDG and had already pre-booked the VEA shuttle, it all went very smoothly but what a hike from arrivals, my 4 year old was well and truly fed up of walking and we had only just got there! You are right though the bus has no atmosphere at all, you get a video in several languages played at you for the 40 minute journey. I will plan better next time.

Having been to Florida (child free) I didn't know what to expect but the place is brilliant. You really can't compare them. The magic is everywhere. I read on here that the parks were dirty and there is rubbish all over, this certainly wasn't the case when we where there I have never seen so many street cleaners, the whole place from the hotel to the parks were spotless.
We managed a trip to Caf! Mickey, wow!!!!! We did the 2 pizza thing instead of the set menu and it worked out so much cheaper. We ate early as mentioned on here for tea it was quieter whilst the 5pm parade was going on, come 6pm everywhere was heaving.

All in all a fab trip and I can't wait to go back, I certainly have the bug and I blame you all!!!!!

    Hello all...
I would like to treat my boyfriend as he has been incredibly supportive through some tricky times lately. Despite us being in our early 30s, he loves all things Disney so I know he would love to go to DLP...And I would too :)
We are child free so it will just be the two of us!

We live 20 min drive from Heathrow and can go as soon as possible after 23rd May this year. What I would really like advice on are:

    - Cheapest time to go (not half term? mid week?)
    - Where to stay (in the park or outside?)
    - How long to stay for?
    - Things that will make the trip better (Fastpass, extra magic hours thing etc)
    - Sneaky tips to save money!
    - Where to book?

    Thank you
