Hi
Ive found a seller on Ebay that does the Disney Park Tickets
Is £88 good for 2 days 2 parks for adults
and £75 for Fantasy pass for children?
Or can I get them cheaper elsewhere as I am a bit skeptical about buying from Ebay!0 -

often you can get nominated date day hopper tickets for around 45 euros per day per adult (it depends on time of year etc) on the official French version of the DLP site, or fnac sometimes.
£75 for a Fantasy pass is a good price if you can't use the French agents to get one at 35 euros.
As always with ebay, check the seller's feedback, especially on similar tickets to what you are considering buying from them.0 -
Hiya,
I was really hoping to travel to dlp via the eurostar non-direct service for our holiday 25th-29th May, but I've been keeping a close eye on the early May non-direct eurostar tickets when they have been coming on the eurostar website and they have been really expensive. I've been looking in the nights when they have just come on so it's not because the cheap seats have gone. When the April tickets were coming on they were much cheaper, then when the May dates started, the prices shot up for some reason?
When I saw the prices I panicked and started looking at flights, so after a lot of thinking about what to do, shall I wait and hope to get bargain eurostar prices or shall I fly and take the risk out of the equation because the flights are available to book. I decided to take the plunge and book flights with Airfrance from Heathrow (although they increased in price by £30 while I was debating what to do).
So now we are flying so I've changed our holiday inn location from Ashford to Heathrow and I'm looking for transfers from CDG Airport to DLP. I've looked at the VEA Shuttle bus and read a mixed bag of reviews on that, so am torn on what to do.
I've got a few questions...Deep breath lol
1. Has anyone used the shuttle? If so what did you think? Is it worth the cost? (137euro) Thought the atmosphere on the bus would be nice for us as its our first visit and I've heard that the excitement of all the children on the bus can really gear you up. I've also read about delays, long waits and multiple terminal pick-ups which drag it out though.
2. Or maybe someone can recommend a good private transfer company? Cheapest I've found is 125euro with https://www.isprestige.com so cheaper than the shuttle. Has anyone ever had any experience with these?
3. I am also considering hiring a car OH does not mind driving and I have found a suitable car with CDG Airport pick up and drop off for £98.50GBP, so was also wondering if anyone had done this? If so, whats the drive like from CDG to DLP? Are there any tolls to consider when costing? Does anyone know how expensive the fuel is in the petrol stations on the route? Are there parking facilities at Hotel New York, and if so does it cost anything?
4. Have I missed an option that maybe worth considering?
Lol, sorry about all the questions, my head is frying with all these decisions. I like the thought of the hire car, because we wouldn't mind going into paris one day and thought that the car would give us the freedom to do this whenever we wanted. But whats it like driving in paris? tolls, parking, traffic etc. Would we be better off using the trains or a tour bus anyway?
Last things that maybe worth mentioning, we are a party of 4 with the youngest being 6, so no worries with babies or large groups and our flight times are good, so no early morning/late arrivals or departures. Only thing that may affect things is that we are arriving on a Sunday, so thought that not pre booking and just jumping in a taxi would cost us a small fortune0 -

the VEA bus has no atmosphere - its a scheduled bus (with the Disney colours on the outside). Inside its just a regular coach, with still photos/muted video of the resort and the VEA schedule. I'd avoid it completely, its now one of the most expensive and slowest methods of transfer between CDG and DLP.
2. Or maybe someone can recommend a good private transfer company? Cheapest I've found is 125euro with https://www.isprestige.com so cheaper than the shuttle. Has anyone ever had any experience with these?
I recommend rstransports, and I wouldn't consider any other method of transfer, just shared or private shuttle (I pay shared shuttle price with rstransport and I've only ended up sharing once, with absolutely no delays).

If its Paris you want to visit, don't drive there, take the train.

yes, not pre-booking will cost at least 100 euros each way (could be more depending on peak/off peak traffic on the roads).0 -

Oh really, thanks for letting me know. Pheww! So glad we haven't booked that

I recommend rstransports, and I wouldn't consider any other method of transfer, just shared or private shuttle (I pay shred shuttle price with rstransport and I've only ended up sharing once, with absolutely no delays).
Okies fab, thank you Balletshoes. I've just looked at them, 102euro, what a deal! I see you can pay cash. Do you pay half when they take you to DLP then half when they pick you up or do you pay in full on your first transfer? Also, do you know if they include booster seats?
If its Paris you want to visit, don't drive there, take the train.
Lovely, will do. Have you ever tried or heard about the DLP tours into paris? Do you rate them at all?
Many thanks Balletshoes, you have been so helpful :beer:0 -

We drive from the UK every time (twice this year so far). There are no road tolls between CDG and Disneyland and fuel is only marginally cheaper than in the UK. There is an Esso filling station next to Santa Fe which backs onto the main car park exit and lots of Total filling stations on the A4. Fairly straight-forward drive A104 & A4.
Haven't stayed at Hotel NY but at Disneyland Hotel and Santa Fe there is ample parking with no charge, so should be the same at HNY. You just need to show your travel docs before they raise the barrier to let you in.
Only drove through Paris once - it was manic, Monday lunchtime, lots of horns sounding, unsure which lane to be in, blimey it was stressful and I was only a passenger!
We keep meaning to book a Cityrama tour at the tourist office as they do a tour that takes you up the Eiffel Tower and boat ride on the Seine. Maybe next time :rotfl:"Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it": Ferris Bueller
DLP visits 2015: March, June, September, DecemberLife is a journey - enjoy the ride

yes they do include booster seats (email them to confirm the ages of the children and which seats you will need) - I don't know when you pay them if you have booked a return transfer with rstransports - I would assume it would be at the end of your final journey with them.
I've never done a City tour of Paris with DLP, or even made it into Paris from DLP I'm afraid.0 -

call the cheap rate number first from a UK landline - 0844 200 90 90, then the Disney dining reservations number on 0033 160 304050.

Lol, I sure will. I'm just waiting on getting the photo's countersigned then off they go
"call the cheap rate number first from a UK landline - 0844 200 90 90, then the Disney dining reservations number on 0033 160 304050"
Sorry Balletshoes, maybe I'm being dim, but is there a code you can dial before the french reservation number to reduce the rate of the call? I thought I read somewhere that there was. Am I correct in thinking that you can't reserve tables on the 0844 number?0
