    Hope someone can help.
We booked to stay in Newport Bay Club, Disneyland Paris back in Sept last year, just received an email today stating the hotels pool, sauna and fitness centre will be closed during our visit, we were not informed at the time of booking and it wasn't put on the website until end of Sept.
We have been offered another hotel at a cost of £500 to ourselves, but at the time of booking this hotel was cheaper than the one we chose.
They have given use a free character breakfast at the grand cost of £52.
We have been told we can't use the facilities at any of the other hotels. I am so upset at the moment, but with only 2 weeks before we travel, we just don't know what's best to do.
    Can anyone advise please.

Not the best news for sure, however, not knowing your party size / composition, let's ask the question, were you planning to use the facilities? If not, what's the big deal, you'll get a character breakfast for free? if so, then I'd be challenging the price increase for sure. At best I'd want the other hotel for the same price. You can but try.

Hi we are thinking of going back to DLP in April 7-10 camping with Friends.
We have the annual passes from going in October however looking for cheap day passes for 2 adults and a child 3 for one day 2 parks or whatever is cheaper for them?

Also does anyone know the best camp sites near disney
    Thanks
    Amie

Out of three, the best one we have stayed at is Le Caravanning des 4 vents, http://www.caravaning-4vents.fr/campsite-seine-et-marne-france.php - pitches are all on the flat.

Jablines is very commercial and you run the risk of being double booked if people don't move on.

Camping Le Chêne Gris doesn't offer much to the camper, primarily mobile homes, tiered on a hill - camping at the base next to the railway line although trains not that much of a problem.

Hi don't know if you can help, we are hoping to travel to DLP for 4 nights/5 days from approx 8 Dec onwards, there will be 2 adults and 3 children age 12, 9 and 2 but also my eldest daughter and her boyfriend who will both be 18, I am hoping to fly if the flights are not to expensive as we are from near Manchester, but not sure how much they will be as they are not released yet, the other option would be to drive and take the euro tunnel again no prices, would it be worth booking the half board if we did??

the other question is when are the french website likely to release the prices for December, up to now I can only get prices up to Nov, and would like to check which is cheaper UK or France first and I need the flight prices before booking as some days are cheaper than others, hopefully they will release them soon, up to now its coming in at around £1400 for two rooms for all of us does this sound OK??

you have loads of time to book your accommodation for December - and it will be cheaper going by Eurotunnel for your party size and driving (staying at the Davy Crockett ranch).

Half board isn't worth it at DLP - it saves you no money and its restrictive in where you can use the vouchers, and what menus you can use with them.

Fridays and Saturdays are always the most expensive days of the week to check in at DLP, so avoid those when you're looking at prices.
  • Thanks for the info. We are going to stay in Santa Fe in two room's if we fly as no shuttle bus from Davey Crockett and no breakfast. Think driving is going to be out as only me drives and it's a long way from up here. Will give the Half board a miss then if it's not worth it. Have you eaten in any the hotel restaurants and are they ok?

Now just to wait for flight releases and the French website to check they are not cheaper

yes - I've had dinner in every onsite hotel buffet restaurant except for the Disneyland Hotel - I enjoyed them all, especially if you go just after the restaurants open at 6pm.

Don't forget, you can eat in any restaurant in the resort you like, including the hotel ones, even if you are not a guest of the hotel.

for December, I'd be looking at round about September or even October for good deals on accommodation onsite.

To cut your budget, if you're planning on spending all your time at DLP, have you thought about a shorter break ? For us, 4 nights would be far too long at that time of year, we'd do it in the summer but not in December. If you're planning on going further afield than DLP then i can understand staying for longer.

Can't offer advice about the price sorry, we've always done packages.

Not sure where you have got your prices from but nowhere near £1400! 2A and 2C, £668, 2A and 1 infant £402 plus £16 per booking. That's on the English site for Dec 8th for 4 nights with two rooms using the Winter offer, 2 nights free!

thats good advice - midweek in December, if its not school holidays, are some of the quietest days in the park in the whole year at DLP - you'd be able to do everything (and then your favourites over again) with 2 nights and 3 days at that time of year.
  • Hi,

    Can you help please?

We need Park tickets for one park for the 18th and 19th Feb.

We have looked at lots of info but still unsure if we can book on a french site

We have found for 2 adults and 2 children under 12, tickets for all of us for 78 euros on 18th at Promoparcs.com. (sold out on the 19th )
And via the French Disneyland Paris Site on the the 19th Feb, it is 110 euros.

The prices are good and i'd buy them, but i worry that; can we as English folk buy on these sites? And be let in on the day?

    Thanks for any advice

oh thanks AP, I will double check that god knows what I was looking at that's over £300 less!!! sure I did it right but will double check it, don't fancy waiting till Oct to book, I will have spent up probably by then and we won't end up going, just trying to hang on till flights are released and the French sites prices, think the early booking offer of 2 nights free is on till April so hopefully will have time to still get the offer. Think we will give the hotel restaurants a try with kids if its buffet style they can choose what they want.

Might also have a character breakfast for the small ones.

We do want to go for four days really, I know weather might not be great but seems to far to go for just a couple of days especially as its buy 2 get 2 free
