Omg you are so right. Cannot believe the price difference. Just need to find a decent translation site for a bit of copying and pasting, ha ha. Thank you so much for your help, think you have just saved us a heap of cash.0

You can have all your purchases at the stores and restaurants charged to your room, and when your spends reach a certain limit (the hotel will tell you) then they will make the charge to your bank for that amount. If you don't reach the limit, your bank will be charged when you check out. You will need a little cash though, as some of the stalls in the parks don't take cards/debit options.
I take some cash (euros - the exchange rate is rubbish at DLP and there are only a couple of places to change money anyway), and my debit card. If for any reason I need cash while at DLP, I use the atms in the park, but not in dribs and drabs, I'd take out enough to last me the rest of the trip, so I'm only stung with one transaction fee.
Okies, thank you for the tips and advice about the onsite exchange rate. Taking sterling and exchanging there is a def no no in that casemrsgreenwood wrote: »hi livvipivvi, we are going to dlp next month, and like you havent been away for years. we have just applied for the fairfax pre-payment card after reading about it on here. we went through this link http://www.fairfx.com/moneysupermarket4

Hiya, Not sure if you've solved the translation problem yet but if you open the site using google chrome a bar should pop up at the top of the screen asking you if you would like to translate the page. Just click "translate" and the whole page will be in english0 -
The mini bars, since the refit, are no longer in the Montana rooms in the Sequoia Lodge.I was informed today.

We have the annual passes from going in October however looking for cheap day passes for 2 adults and a child 3 for one day 2 parks or whatever is cheaper for them?
Also does anyone know the best camp sites near disney
Thanks

I can't see any special offer day park tickets going past the end of March at the moment - they might have to wait a couple of months before sorting out tickets for April.0 -
Hi All
Looking for some advice, l have booked to stay in the Disney Hotel with my husband, son, daughter and grand daughter for 4 nights from 3rd April, we have paid in full for the booking and now my grandson is not able to come !! Not sure what the best thing is to do, he is a free child so we have not paid any money for him but unsure if I should let the hotel know before we travel or do I just tell them when we arrive ?? My sister would like to come but she is definitely over 12 so could we pay the difference on arrival for an extra adult, if yes any ideas how much ? Any advice gratefully received.0 -

i'm lost - so how many guests in total have you booked up to now, and how old is the one who can no longer go, who is booked into the hotel?0 -
we have booked for 2 adults, 1 child aged 9 (free but now no longer able to travel) a free child of 8 and a toddler aged 2 (sleeping in a travel cot). There would be room for another adult (sleeping with my son) but she is unsure if she can get time off work though, just wondered what our options are or whether to just turn up and say my grandson is not coming !!0

okay - if you want to replace the child who can't come anymore with an adult, you will have to tell DLP in advance. Go on the DLP website, and see how much it would be for a package for your dates, for your party, including your sister and excluding your grandson. The difference in that and what you've already paid, will be how much it costs to amend the booking.
If thats a big difference (ie more than £130 more) then I'd suggest contacting Disney only to tell them that the 9-year old can no longer come, and waiting until check-in to add your sister's name to the booking, and she can buy her own park ticket/fantasy annual pass. Doing it this way, the only extra your sister will pay is local tax of 2 euros per night booked, just for her. There is no other charge.0
