Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hope someone can help.
We booked to stay in Newport Bay Club, Disneyland Paris back in Sept last year, just received an email today stating the hotels pool, sauna and fitness centre will be closed during our visit, we were not informed at the time of booking and it wasn't put on the website until end of Sept.
We have been offered another hotel at a cost of £500 to ourselves, but at the time of booking this hotel was cheaper than the one we chose.
They have given use a free character breakfast at the grand cost of £52.
We have been told we can't use the facilities at any of the other hotels. I am so upset at the moment, but with only 2 weeks before we travel, we just don't know what's best to do.
Can anyone advise please.0 -

which other hotel have you been offered, and have you costed up the hotel yourself on the DLP website? Does it show on there as being £500 more expensive than what you have paid?0 -
Yes, it does show £500 more expensive now, but at the time of booking it was cheaper than what we paid.0

We were offered Sequoia Lodge at £500 extra.0

Hi
can anybody help with a question about park tickets please? I am going with my 7 year old son who is registered disabled for 4 days/ 3 nights 8-11 april. We are staying off site and have flights and hotel booked. I was going to purchase us both an annual pass but then read that with a disability the ticket is cheaper and the carer (ie me) would be free.
So I rang the DLP helpline and they were very vague and said the carer would be free but not sure about any other discount. Does anyone know what the walk up price for a child for the 4 days would be as I am presuming that is the most we would pay? Or if there is any better way to get park tickets. Many thanks :beer:0 -
phone guest services in France - 00 33 1 60 30 60 53 (use a discount dial number from your landline to get the call cheap) on Monday during the day - they will be able to help you with your disabled child price for tickets etc.0

i think you should have a think about which table/buffet service restaurants you want to eat at, and book them in advance - you have French school holidays and a long-weekend basketball tournament onsite at DLP in the same week as UK half term this year.0 -
Hi don't know if you can help, we are hoping to travel to DLP for 4 nights/5 days from approx 8 Dec onwards, there will be 2 adults and 3 children age 12, 9 and 2 but also my eldest daughter and her boyfriend who will both be 18, I am hoping to fly if the flights are not to expensive as we are from near Manchester, but not sure how much they will be as they are not released yet, the other option would be to drive and take the euro tunnel again no prices, would it be worth booking the half board if we did??
the other question is when are the french website likely to release the prices for December, up to now I can only get prices up to Nov, and would like to check which is cheaper UK or France first and I need the flight prices before booking as some days are cheaper than others, hopefully they will release them soon, up to now its coming in at around £1400 for two rooms for all of us does this sound OK??0 -
I assume you are talking about the half board option at Disney and not the tunnel, lol! There are others better placed to answer whether half board is worth it but at the end of the day that is a choice for you, we have always gone B&B.
If flying you'll need to add transfer from CGD to Disney - a Balletshoes post earlier gives the information.
Given your party is at least six, suspect the two year might be the seventh accommodation wise so two rooms scenario as the max room size is four unless at the Davy Crockett ranch for which you need a car to travel to and from.
There is a Winter offer on the English site now, up to 2 nights & 2 days free providing you book by 15th April although of course availability is going to be the question there.
Whether £1400 sounds ok, that depends on which hotel?
