it depends how you do it - if you're after something guaranteed, then yes, you'll have to pay for it.

However, if you call the hotel 3 or 4 days before you check in, ostensibly to ask for a nice room (ie if you want to specify a low or high floor, near the main facilities or not etc) theres nothing wrong with dropping into the conversation then that you're there to celebrate a special birthday, and you're having birthday cake etc while you are there ;). This doesn't guarantee you any pixie dust, but it doesn't hurt either, and you might find your birthday boy or girl gets a cuddly toy or something like that put in the room for them. As I said, not at all guaranteed, but worth a shot.

The direct number for the Cheyenne hotel is tel Cheyenne 0033 1 60 45 62 00.

Brilliant, thank you balletshoes! Just what I wanted.

I'm planning on decorating the room a little once she's asleep the night before (her birthday is our first FULL day there!), so that'll be nice to wake up to too!

Considered the make over but it VERY expensive, so still not sure..... If all else fails, I might do it myself in the morning....... She's only 4 after all. Also planning Cafe Mickey with birthday cake that evening, and doing the meet the princesses during the day that day too (can't bear the queuing every day - so it'll be a treat!! lol). She's OBVIOUSLY be wearing a princess dress all day too, and a birthday badge or sash....... Anything else anyone can think of?

I,d definitely do a bithday sash ~ and attach it at the shoulder with a pin ( they can be a faff without it as they slip down). she,ll get lots of attention from cm,s and characters all day.
you can get her face painted in either the main park or the studios ~ they do Princess designs and it costs 12 euros or less.

no, thats just for the Eurostar journey from London to DLP direct. Its another £500 or so on the official DLP site, just for hotel (Sequoia Lodge) for 2 nights, breakfast, dinner vouchers, and park tickets for you all for 3 days. There are no better discount offers at all showing for your dates I'm afraid.

    Ive just found this

To stay at disneys davy crockett ranch for £391.30 is that a good price? Obviously i will have to add transportation for this still

Cdsmiler- we're doing the same for our granddaughter who will be 4 in November but DLP is her huge birthday treat. I have looked for Sofia the First Princess pack but without luck, however plenty of birthday sashes around. DIL and I thought about the princess make over but felt in the end it was a bit OTT for a four year old. If I think of anything else we're thinking of or doing I'll let you know. :).

We did let the hotel know as Balletshoes suggested it was GD's birthday and they said there wasn't any guarantee as it is just the American's that go out on a limb and go mad! Lol. We are going 2nd December so have time to let you know when we get back of anything we did that you possibly haven't thought of.

well, there is no transport between DLP and Davy Crockets, so you'd be relying on taxis every time between your cabin and the parks, and back. its a 15-minute drive, so its not going to be cheap by taxi.

in the main park they set up near the entrance to the Auberge de Cendrillon princess meal restaurant.

in the studios its just as you go in, in Studio One, opposite the En Coulisse counter service restaurant.

Probably a stupid question but is the pool in Sequoia only open to residents of that hotel?
    Cheers
