Hello everyone.
My wife is thinking of taking our daughter (aged 7) to DLP next August via a coach trip from West Wales. Depart 24th, have 2 days in the park (staying in the Santa Fe) and return on the 27th.
The total cost for the both of them is £500.
Looking for opinions on the above booking reagarding time of travel and cost.
Thanks in advance.0 -
I'm hoping to get my girlfriend tickets to Disneyland Paris for Christmas, but on a bit of a budget.
I'm trying to get:
2 adults
2 nights accommodation
2 days in the park
and transport from London
for around £300 - £350.
I'm looking at going at a less busy time of year (so not in school holiday periods)
Thinking of leaving London on a Sunday, and spending Monday and Tuesday at the parks so they wont be too busy.
After a lot of reading I've come up with the following options (all based on 2 adults):
1. In Jan or Feb 2014
with 20% off and free half board via Disney site (inc. park tickets)- £269
plus transport of around £140
TOTAL: £309
2. In June 2014
Accommodation off site around £50 a night x 2 = £100
Return flights (or Eurostar) around: £140
Plus park tickets for 2 days: around £120 i think
TOTAL: £360
3. In October 2014
Accommodation off site around £50 a night x 2 = £100
Eurostar around: £140
Plus park tickets for 2 days: around £120 i think
TOTAL: £360
What do you think I should do? I think June or October might be a better time of year to go as it wont be as cold....?
Any thoughts / suggestions on the above would be much appreciated!!
I'm guessing the above is pretty much as cheap as I'll be able to get?0 -
We are a family of six - 2 parents, and children aged 19,16,11,8. We are not seasoned travellers.
I am planning a weekend trip to DLP 29/11 to 1/12
I had seen packages on lastminute.com and other sites coming up to between £1000 to £1300ish which is alot for a weekend although I appreciate we are a large group. This is not including park tickets.
I just checked Explorers hotel and their rooms for 5-6 comes out at £274 for the 2 nights which is very reasonable.
We would be travelling by Eurostar but can't make the train times direct to DLP as we are going after school/work, so we will be arriving in Paris pretty late.
My question is what would be the best way to get from Paris GDN to Explorers at say 10pm at night - how far is it?
We only really plan to spend one day at DLP on the Saturday and will spend Sunday in Paris
Any tips would be appreciated. thanks0 -
I've seen a package on last minute.com for £1236 for the six of us in a 'top secret hotel' near DLP (2 rooms) 4*
Has anyone ever been on one of these secret hotel deals and what was the experience?
I've just realised how expensive Eurostar is to book separately so will probably go for a package like this.
This is all a bit last minute as 3 of us didn't have passports until this week but now we have decided to go for it!0 -
Hi all I'm planning to take my daughter to DLP next year around 21st of May - I've been looking at different options am I better off waiting until the new year before booking? I did see a few deals on Disneyland Paris direct? Also planning on getting there by Eurostar - again is it better to book now or later? Would appreciate any help! Thank you!0

Nope, euros only. Although I didn't actually use much cash, paid for everything with my normal Visa Debit card. It was much easier.0 -

They also take Visa and Mastercard credit cards too in all the shops and restaurants (not sure about the food carts though) but beware of foreign exchange conversion fees with most credit cards."Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it": Ferris Bueller
