Hi all,
So who's been while this year's Christmas theme has been up and running?? Any recommendations on specific Christmas themed stuff to do with a 4 year old this year? Is Father Christmas anywhere? How many different parades are there? What about the Christmas Market by Disney Village - any recommendations? What are they selling?
Thank you!!

Disney Express Service
We go next week as a family of 6. My mum and dad are in the New York. My wife / kids and I are in Disney Hotel. Dad struggles with heavy bags, so we have the option of Disney Express. But they want £32 for both he and my mum, even though they are likely to have one bag. Does that seem right ? Surely it is not the case ( no pun intended ). It seems highly poor value. There is no option to check in on the train either, which i heard was possible ? meaning we still need to get the bag up to the top of the station anyway. Advice please. Also does anyone know if the pool in Disney Hotel is closed on as of 1 December ? On DLP Magic it appears open but Disney brochure says closed.0 -

you pay per adult for Disney express, regardless of the number of bags you are taking. So £32 would be correct for your mum and dad, and yes, you still need to take the bags to the Disney express luggage area at the top of the train station before they can be transferred to their hotel.
another option would be, you take your dad's bag for him to the hotel new york when you arrive (its a 10-minute walk at most from the train station) and they pay the hotel to bring the bag back to the Disney express luggage area at the train station on the last day (this costs 11 euros total, as its per room, not per person or per bag).
I don't know if the DLH pool is open or closed - you'd be best to email or phone your hotel to ask them.0 -
Hi Ballet Shoes!
I bought 2 dream passes for me and my daughters trip next week to DLP and I just want to check something.
Basically i bought the passes from from that french site (promoparcs) and the passes came through quite quickly but the passes are basically just bits of card! I was expecting a credit card type material but they look a little basic! I'm guessing that this is correct?! I don't want to get to DLP and look a bit of a plonker with these passes! Espesh when i'm relying on these passes to get discounts on food and the shops etc!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Niki
On your 1st day you will need to go to the annual pass office. Your paper ticket will allow you to enter the main park.
Once at the office they will take your photo and issue you with your "proper" card which has your photo name etc plus date it expires. remember to take your passports as they will take a copy for their records.
It doesn't take that long and you come out with a shiny credit card to use for entry to the parks (it has a bar code on the front which the machines scan and your details including your picture come up at the terminal inside the booth) and for your discounts etc you just hand it over with payment. Its really easy0 -

This time next week we will be at DLP! Just wanted to check there isn't anything else we need to book in advance or should put into our itinerary please. Meeting son, DIL, GD (4) and GS (18 months ) there.
Cafe Mickey meal and birthday cake (haven't got birthday sash, stupidly huge is all I could see!). Will buy badge instead.
Meeting Princesses
Face painting - either at entrance to Auberge de Cendrillon or as you go in Studie One.
Take snacks and drinks with us each day as stupidly expensive inside.
Go in early for Dumbo rides etc as gets very busy around 9am.
Is this everything I need to remember please?? Thanks in advance balletshoes!0 -

I think you have it pretty much covered- remember you're going at a fabulous time of year, christmas season, so set time aside to see all the parades and special shows (they are on the park programme now, and the timings shouldn't change between now and next week
