    Hi all,

Quick question - ideally we'd LOVE to take DD to Auberge de Cendrillon for her birthday meal, but my hubby is a bit picky and the menu showing on DLRPMagic doesn't appeal (was updated in February apparently). It only shows one set menu option - is that all you can do? Set meal or no other option? He'd be ok if it was just mains and dessert for example. And also I'm assuming it's only open lunchtimes?

    Thanks all!

Hi, we are going to disneyland on 13/04/14 for 4 nights, 2 adults and 2 children (both aged 8). We are hoping to go to disneyland for 2 days, on 14/04 and 15/04. Would it be cheaper for us to get an onsite hotel with free tickets or offsite hotel? If I book one night staying at Santa Fe will I get 2 days of park tickets or one? This is our first time to disneyland

hi cdsmiler, do u mind if I ask what was on the menu and if it is a set meal and also the cost please? x tia x
  • money personally I would think staying off site is a lot cheaper. I just got back from the explorers hotel on saturday they provided regular transport to the parks and was a fraction of the price of staying on site. Also I would look at ticket prices on Attraction Tickets Direct as they do cheap tickets.

When I went I went for 4 nights 5 days and brought an annual pass. With that I got 10% off in restaurants and 20% off in shops and in 5 days saved over 100 euros so it may also be worth considering getting 1 of them between you as it costs £166 for an annual pass or £113 for a 2 day pass

it will be busy when you go - that's Parisien area school holidays next year. Because of that, and because your children are aged over 6, I think you'll find it cheaper to go offsite and buy park tickets for the 2 days you want to go into the DLP parks.

You don't need to buy the most expensive annual pass (if you were interested in doing that to get discounts) - a fantasy pass is 159 euros and gives you very similar discounts to the most expensive one, and your proposed dates for visiting DLP are not blackout dates for the fantasy pass.

Thankyou for your replies. On expedia there is a hotel (Santa Fe) for one night with tickets for the park at £334. Does anyone know if the tickets will be for 2 days or 1 day? I contacted expedia and they said they won't be able to tell me until after I booked it

they are usually 2-day park hopper tickets, they include your check-in day (all day) and your check-out day (all day). Expedia are being very silly - if they are telling you they can't say how many days park tickets are included in that price, then they're not very good at their job, and I'd be phoning them again before booking, to clarify. And if they still can't tell me, I'd be looking elsewhere for my deal.

What price are you seeing for the same thing on the official DLP site? The official site is definitely 2 days park hopper tickets each, included on a one-night onsite hotel stay.
