of course you can get it cheaper - but it depends what you want :). Do you want direct Eurostar, or are you happy with indirect via Lille? Do you desperately want the Disneyland Hotel, or is it more any onsite hotel as its just somewhere to rest? Is your price including free half board, or are you having to pay extra for it?

eta - go after 12th November, its French school/public holidays right up til then in November, best avoided if you want a pleasant quiet park experience at DLP.

also, try a check-in date of a weekday, not Friday or Saturday, as those are the most expensive days of the week to check in at DLP.

Thanks for replying, yes I think direct will be easiest for us with the kiddies, no not desperate for the Disney hotel but would like one that we don't have to travel far to, yes it includes half board and free for under 7s so 2 of my children r free in hotel and tickets :-)

Didn't know that about French school holiday so def want to avoid that for sure x

Will have another look at different dates, am I best booking through the Disneyland site?

    Hi peeps, another question....
I have the temp AP passes from multiad, where do i go with them?
Can i activate them then return to my car for free parking, i take it you get a parking permit?

you take them, with your passports for ID, to the AP office inside the main park, on your first day at DLP. There they will be made into your permanent laminated APs.

I think you need to pay for parking on your first day - you don't get a separate parking permit with your AP, you show your AP at the car park entrance to get free parking in the main DLP car park.

for 2 nights with free kids and free half board, yes, probably booking through the official DLP site will be best.

Check Eurostar site first though, have a play about with your dates on there, you might find a bargain for the Eurostar direct service in November which ties in with a good deal in an onsite hotel. Eurostar fares start at £69 return per adult, £49 return per child, under 4s free, at their cheapest price, direct to DLP.

None of the onsite hotels at DLP are more than 20 minutes walk from the gates of the parks, and they all have free shuttle buses all day every day. If you want a nice compromise, try the Sequoia Lodge (or Newport Bay Club, or Hotel New York, whichever is cheaper). They are all situated around Lake Disney, so no more than 10 minutes walk from the parks, and its through the Village area of the resort, which is fun in itself in winter :).

We got fantasy Ap's from multi, I see above that you got reduced buffalo bills? Did you book when there or beforehand?
Ive also heard you can get free tickets if its your birthday in the month?...

I booked while we were there and with Fantasy Pass you get 20% discount. I don't know about the free ticket for your birthday. My 6 year old boy loved the show, ye ha!!

Have a couple of questions that I'd appreciate any answers too please guys -

We're visiting DLP for the first time in Febraury half term, staying in Cheyenne [Myself, other half, her sister and partner and 3 kids aged 8,7,6 at time of travel]

Wifi - is there wifi in the park? Sure I read somewhere about this but cant remember where?!

Breakfast - we've got breakfast included as part of our deal and was just wandering what type of food was included. All I could find was 'continental' [which im assuming to be croissants, fruit etc?]

Val d'Europe - someone told me that theres a decent 'food court' here with a wide range of choice for eating. Was thinking about visiting here at some point during our stay and wondered a]how easy it is to get there and b] what sort of food choices are there [and price range if anyone knows?]

Buffalo Bills - Is it worth going to see this show? Ive seen tickets a bit cheaper on ticketmaster than on the disney site so have been thinking about booking via ticketmaster.

    thanks in advance :)

no free wifi in the public areas of the parks, but you can pick it up in the public areas of the Disneyland Hotel and Hotel New York, plus in the vicinity of Starbucks, McDonalds, and Earl of Sandwich in the Village area. As far as I know, there isn't any free wifi in your hotel yet. You can pay for wifi if you're desperate.

Breakfast - we've got breakfast included as part of our deal and was just wandering what type of food was included. All I could find was 'continental' [which im assuming to be croissants, fruit etc?]

its pastries, bread rolls, bread for toasting, cereals, plain yoghurt, fruit cocktail, and various jams, nutella, cheese and ham. full buffet style, so you can fill up at breakfast no problem :).

i wouldn't bother to be honest, not just for a meal.

with the ages of your children, i think they'd love Buffalo Bills - try the official DLP site, French "isle de France" site too, for these tickets, they are available from 40 euros each there.

I'm staying at Hotel Cheyenne In Feb for 4 nights/5 days with my partner and two daughters (4 & 7) - Does anyone have any tips to keep dining costs down?

I was planning on filling up at breakfast time but it was the thought of paying theme park prices for the rest of each days meals that concerns me. I really dont know what a realistic budget is for food and drink.

    Any advice would be great!

there are value options right outside the park gates at DLP - you have 2 convenience stores inside the train station where you can get sanddwiches, drinks and snacks, and you also have McDonalds and Earl of Sandwich in the Village, again right beside the park gates.

Have a look at DLRPMagic for their restaurant review/menu/price information.
  • We go 1 Dec. 4 of us in Disneyland Hotel & my parents in Hotel New York. Could someone advise if it's possible to swap hotels for breakfast. We are there 4 mornings so would like to eat together a couple of times, probably at Disney hotel. Will there be an upgrade fee ?

Also, it's my Dad's 65th while there, any recommendations as to what to do / for example if we wanted to do a Birthday cake where can we do that best in a park / hotel restaurant.
    Many thanks all :-)
