hi evry1 sorry not been on here for a bit-work work work.

ps no more towards the saves yet, but get paid tomorrow and always try to put a bit of cash away from pay for my stash.0 -
hi nog, i know how u feel, i phone d the school to day and apparently u have to be qualified to be a teaching assistant but not a classroom assistant. the headteacher on the fone was very nice and explained that when ds starts school in jan i can come in and help out voluntary for a few days, then when classroom assistant job comes up they will "favour" me more!!! so all is potentially not lost but will have to wait a bit longer, something will turn up nog, how come ure leaving your current job in october? jo when is the school secretary job coming up? u heard anything yet? i believe everything happens for a reason so lets keep our collective chins up!!!

hi mm,
not leaving current job just got a caravan and it doesnt close until end oct, and want to get everything weve paid for so cant really close it early!
hopefully theyll keep me on books and ring me again in few weeks. fingers crossed! its just in addition to the 2 jobs i already have!
got an application for through for a job today which i could do standing on my head! so hopefully might get some joy there. same hours as now just higher scale, only works out at about £40/month more like but its all there isnt it!
ps-was going to go out for tea tonight but im not now cos going to save the £20 for christmas stash instead! good girl...then also putting £20 away which i put away after every payday, so total £40 extra today. that gives me a grand total of £160 which means i only need to snaffle another £40 before 30/10 (christmas shopping trip day!) to reach my £200 target!!! wipee...

Well done Noggin! You are doing far better at this challenge than me (look at my sig
). Shame about the Primark job, but I'm sure you'll be on the top of the pile should summat turn up next month.
MM, the closing date for the Secretary's job is next Monday so I'm hoping they'll ring me at some point next week for an interview, keep everything crossed for meDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

im sure youll hear something next week from the school. fingers crossed for you0 -
hi nog n jo, yeah ive got EVERYTHING crossed for u jo, we need a bit of good fortune us 3 dont we? hope u get the job both of u, ive just bin on the fone to my high flying older sis, shes a lecturer and head of special needs at a college, and she sed she will look out for jobs in her college for me, so altho its not working with children its term time!!! on the savings front nothing has changed!! Still skint but in our defence, martin says its better to pay off than save!!! got to pay the rent arrears as im behind with them so need to get cracking with it.

hi mm, sorry to hear ur mums not been well. glad shes betetr now
ive not changed on the savings front. there are just NO mystery shops coming up over the last week or so, but on the plus side got £141.50 coming from them this week and another £80 in Oct. (already inluded in my sig)
bit miffed cos we did yellow pages in feb and altho was really hard graft got good money for it, so put our names down for phone book deliveries which are started beg sept-not heard nowt from them and now got our phone book on our front step. so bit annoyed cos theyve not called to say they didnt need us or owt. hmmf. ne mind...
hoping to hear from primark again cos that extra dosh would be lovely when caravan shut for winter. i looked last year but was too late as everywhere had recruited (in oct by the way...), so started looking end aug this year!!!
good luck jo hope u hear sumat soon

Yes you do I think from my time doing them, or they warn you that you are responsible for sorting your tax out.0
