Hi everyone! Hope you've had a lovely weekend.
I, like emma-6584, have been putting away £1 for each item I get finished, give away etc. At the moment, I'm planning on buying the Naked Basics 2 as one of the only things I'm limited on is really good mattes. At least this way I can buy it without guilt! Anyhoo, I have things to declare!
OUTS
11. UU Clinique Mild Liquid Facial Soap - sample size. WDNBA. Got this in the Clinique LIB box. Did not like at all, made my eyes water even if I was super careful about avoiding them and made my skin feel stripped. Ended up using it to clean my makeup brushes.
12. UU NYC Smooth Skin Pressed Face Powder in Translucent. WMBA. Good enough for the price.
13. UU Sainsbury's Sage and Linseed candle. WDBA. Really like the scent. Overall I like Sainsbury's candles. Scent throw isn't brilliant but they're good value and burn evenly and fairly clean.
14. UU OGX Organix Keratin Oil Conditioner. WNBA. I always use up the conditioner before the shampoo, it's so irritating. I quite liked how this left my hair but it leaves a film on everything it touches. I wash my hair with a handheld shower attachment and could barely stop it flying out of my hands. If you have a normal overhead shower, it wouldn't be a problem but for me it makes it a WNBA.
15. UU 17 Brow Pencil. WDBA. Good colour for me and nice texture, not as hard as a lot of eyebrow pencils.
16. UU Flamingo Candles Wax Melt in Tropical Coconut Milk and Honey. WMBA. It's nice enough but not the sort of scent I usually go for. I like these melts but I need to cancel my Melt Crowd subscription. So much of this brand is fruit based scents and smell too sweet for me.
17. GA Radox Original Bath Foam. Gave to my dad. I love the smell but I just haven't been using scented bubble bath much recently and he'd run out.
INS
21. Vichy Serum - sachet. Free sample.
22. Sheridan Candles Amber Noir. Had this before and loved it. Spotted it reduced in Tesco. Slightly weak of me but I did have four or five candles in my basket and put all back bar this one.
I'm pleased that I talked myself out of LIB Winner's Box, and Body Shop sale even when it got to 40% off sale prices and they had my beloved Limited Edition Gardenia perfume. Listed some unused makeup on ebay so fingers crossed. Also hit pan on a face powder and a brow powder.
Overall I've got a starting count of 511 (!) down to a round 500. Feel like I've had a productive week as I've also used up a few things I don't count so I've got rid of a fair bit. Got a lot of splutterers - more hand cream and a few lip balms. I've got a Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer that I'm scraping. One part of me feels like calling it quits and declaring it UU but I do quite like it and can see so much in there! I've wiggled the doefoot around and scraped the sides of the barrel already. Any ideas for getting the rest out?0 -

Well done on your UUs! I admire you Deleted_User
For the concealer, you might try cutting the neck off the tube, or if there is a plastic insert around the opening where the applicator goes in, then you might wiggle that bit out and have a nice big opening to wiggle around with a q-tip or even a toothpickyou might as well try to depot it into a little jar so that you wouldn't need to do the whole wiggling thing everytime you use it
Hope this helps :A

I like the idea of putting away £1 for each UU'ed item. The problem is, I rarely have cash on me :Pally.0

Hi Asajj,
I know that feeling well...I usually pop in a little IOU with the item used up written on it. Then I will put the money in when I get home from doing some shopping or something. I have actually started another jar for rewarding myself for when I don't eat out (only 50p each time as I have been buying breakfast from pret/coffee shops every morning at work, followed by lunches from coffee shops) it has added up to so much money over the past few weeks I am actually ashamedso have found myself writing quite a few IOUs this past 2 weeks :rotfl:
All in the name of money saving and being less wasteful!
I also have a few more UU's to report this morning.
10. Como Shamballa conditioner. I really hated this product despite the price tag hinting it would be amazing! Thankfully it was a gift from a hotel rep so I didn't pay for it. Have another to UU too
11. Lee Stafford hair mask - for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length. WMBA, this used to be my HG hair mask, and I do still really like it. However I have found some other protein repair masks that do a slightly better job. For the price though this product is really very good.
12. Emporio Armani Elle perfume. - one of my all time favs and WDBA luckily I already have another in my stashJuly 2015 - £997 in Debt.

Everyone is so motivating, and I've now felt confident enough to post my PP list and officially declare my intention to get down my stash. I've already UU 5 of my PP items, though I have deliberately selected a lot of things that were already spluttering to keep my confidence up by getting in a flurry of UU right off the bat.
Hi, and welcome to the thread. I tend to choose items that I know will beUUed for my PP list too. In a way though this means that I will UU all the way and not get bored enough to open up a new, say, shower gel before finishing. Does this make sense?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have started to do the same, I think half my original problem is that i have about 6 different moisturizers open at any given time and hop between them all. I think focusing on 1-2 items per function is the best way to get through it all effectively!July 2015 - £997 in Debt.
