I do use hair chalks too and they are amazing :P I might try to cut down my lipstick stash by a bit of DIY too !

Last night proved quite successful. I have found something new to obsess over - creating my own lipsticks. I had so much fun melting them down and pouring them back into empty containers. Technically I haven't UU any yet but I have def gotten my stash down by combining a few. I will post them as UU's when I get to the end of my newly formed ones.

I also came to the realisation that I can wear pretty much any colour if I put enough time and effort into blending them. Some colours are just too vibrant though to bother trying (too time consuming) - I will never get to the end of some of these products using them that way and they are just not conservative enough for work or for everyday use.

They highly pigmented laura mercier ones however make amazing hair chalks. The colour pay off is fantastic and my hair is platinum blonde so they show up quite well. It sounds a little mad I do realise ... but I have a festival on this weekend that I am planning to use them for. Lavender and teal streaks it is :rotfl:

I have TA to report. I've tried Estee lauder daywear bb cream (GWP) today but event though it is the lightest shade, it made me look like a blooming orange! I thought i mighr mix it with other stuff i like it but alas! It didn't set, made my face sweat (pretty, right?)and kept glowing as in a shiny messy oily skin type of glowing. Tossed it because i can't give something that useless to anyone

On a brighter note, I'm down one more item

This is a brilliant forum. I am desperate to stop unnecessary buying. I have 250 shower gels which is absolutely ridiculous. I have stopped but I started buying body butters now. I have about ten and really don't want to end up the same way! Please don't laugh at me but this is crazy!

Ha ha. At least you are using them. Mine are just in my wardrobe. God knows what they'll be like when I get to them. My fianc! goes mad at me.

I love the hair chalk idea! I'll have to try that.

A couple of out and ins for me:
- UU Nivea cream (navy tin). WDBA. This is a HG product, especially while skiing in the winter or general harsh weather. Very rich and moisturising, but absorbs really well and leaves my skin feeling moisturised but not at all greasy. And great value for money!
- UU toothpaste, replaced same day.
- TA mini No7 mascara as it had dried out.

And some ins via Amazon
- macadamia nut hair treatment used last night, but as my hair is pretty good at the minute anyway I'm not really sure what i think yet... I do like the smell though!
- large jar of coconut oil on amazon prime day special price, though this will be used for cooking too!

One UU for me today:

TBS Absinthe Hand Cream 100ml: Really lovely scent to this but I did get a bit sick of it with such a large tube to use! WBA and I have a mini one in the cupboard.

I have a couple of uu's

Body Shop Lip & Cheek Tint - WBA and already have another in the stash, it does get used up quicker than any other blush I've ever had which is a good and bad thing.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm 50ml - have one more this size and a 100ml pot in the stash so no need to replace just yet.

Strawberrygirl - we would never laugh. I too have a shower gel problem.
