Afternoon all! Welcome new and old, and welcome back Fizz - glad your DH made a speedy recovery!

I have some INs and UUs today.

UUs:

TBS Papaya Body Butter 200ml: I'm getting quite sick of the body butter formulation as it is so greasy and bunches up on the skin. WNBA for the foreseeable future but I have two more butters in the cupboard.
TBS Mango Shower Gel 250ml: Lovely scent and lathered up brilliantly. WBA but I already have s Satsuma one to use in the cupboard.
Sanctuary Velvety Hand Cream 30ml: I love the smell of sanctuary stuff but I have too many hand creams to use up so WNBA.
Sainsbury's White Handwash 500ml: HATED this bloomin' handwash - so glad it's finally gone as it smelled awful. WNBA.


Now for my INs - I bought my very first beauty box (Latest in Beauty Award Winners Box - inspired by your post dolly84!) as I could pick my own products. I've needed to repurchase my HG Burts Bees cleanser for ages but it's always out of stock at Boots and more expensive from BBs direct. The full size cleanser was in the box, plus I could pick 5 other products for about £5 more including postage. I totalled up the cost of everything and I have made a £40 saving by getting this box - bargain Here are the bits:

Haven't posted for a few months but this challenge has been in th e back of my mind. I thought of you when I realised this morning I would need to buy shampoo and conditioner for the first time this year.
I've been really good at using up toiletries...less so with make-up and perfume, oops!

Thank you all so much for your words of wisdom!!

I have decided that this evening while my OH is out it will be "makeup artist night" Plumpudding and Fixx I am locking the doors, painting my face all sorts of wonderful colours and seeing if I can incorporate them, or take Asajj's idea of mixing them into a new shade.

Not 100% sure this is going to work out but it's worth a shot before I bin them.

I can't sell them as they have already been used once or twice each...and I really don't have anyone to pass these along to. I haven't been in the UK very long and most of the people I know here are male friends from back home. So it is use up or throw away time. Dolly84 I love your idea of throwing them out on Bin day so I can't change my mind, hence why tonight is my makeup practice night. If it doesn't work out by tomorrow morning they will be gone forever and I will have moved on and forgotten about the money like Maddiemay has suggested

Polkadotsandrainbows I regularly remix my lipsticks into new shades as I always have some spare little pots lying about and then use a lipbrush to apply. Though this does feel a little over the top to reapply using a lip brush while I am sitting at my desk in work. It honestly never crossed my mind to try and put it back into an empty lipstick bullet. What a great idea!!! This is will also be tested this evening!!

Shandy - I don't know any makeup artists unfortunately...I need to work on befriending some so I don't have this issue anymore

Indiepanda - It totally defeats the point of wearing makeup if it looks crap I agree..I will update you all tomorrow morning on whether my stash of teal, khaki, lilac, blue and burgundy eye shadows has beaten me down or if I have finally figured out a way to use these that don't make me look like I stepped out of the 80's.

emma-6584 it's definitely worth playing around with techniques and applications a it. I've just used a palette that's been sitting by the side for ages with lovely colours (Benefit Matthew Williamson The Rich Is Back) and did one eye first how I thought it would look best - but it turned out looking like a half faded black eye lol.

I then found the original instructions that came with the kit and followed those on the other eye and it looks awesome - definitely a look I'll do again. :j

So I'm an idiot and apparently need instructions to put on eyeshadow

UU a bar of soap, nothing exciting a bar of shield from general soap stash and tonight I'll be cutting open little bottle of champneys rose scented hand and body lotion so that will be put in the recycling in the morning.

Another UU here Boots Extracts cocoa butter, love this, smells so nice and makes my skin super soft but its been going on slowly with this hot weather. Still going with the S&G Clean on Me, its literally been going since April I think, with 2 showers a day at least half the week but its nearly gone:eek::eek:
