The position has now changed. Government advising against all but essential travel to Tunisia.

Tour operators will start flying people home. Even for anyone who think it is still safe to visit, travel insurance won't be valid and so it would no longer be sensible to visit.

ISIL is not a country. ISIL is made up mainly of young, radicalised men from many countries who are hell bent on forcing others into submission.
ISIL started to grow in the aftermath of the Iraq war, due to the coalition forces destroying the Iraqi infrastructure and disbanding the Iraqi army.
Three years ago, ISIL was given a real boost when the US/UK tried to overthrow Assad in Syria by funding, arming and training "rebel" groups there.

The situation has changed.

The FO has presumably received some new information about the risks and are advising people accordingly. This wasn't the case after the attacks.

This new development could have come in a year's time or never.

Have you been sleeping for the past 10 years? Our forces have 'illegally' invaded country after country for the past decade now. Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, Syria, Somalia, Iraq (with over 1 million Iraqi's dead) with us funding, training and supporting ISIS and other terror groups to destabilize sovereign countries before we come in to the rescue and leave further destruction and death, all for securing resources that these countries refuse to just willingly hand over.

Saudi Arabia has a terrible human rights record, yet we all support this country because they bend over for us in oil. When you get into your mid 20's you'll start to waken up and see it for what it is
