Number 8 NSD minces gingerly up to the Cauldron of Doom and flops in. It has been a hard day in NSD land.

Pass me another vanilla cupcake please, Mrs Doyle, and I'll have another refill of tea while you're at it. Tatty, do shut up howling, I told you that what happens on hen nights goes no further, so Igor will not find out about you, the male stripper and the can of squirty cream.

(Memo to self - must get videotape from marmite, You've Been Framed are offering £200 for stuff like that...)

    NSD 12/12
    2nd set of 3 in a row

Been watching the daily episodes of RIGHT ON THE MONEY:LIVE and learned lots particularly about haggling. This afternoon I took OH window shopping for a bed as his sleepless nights due to our badly shaped mattress are starting to get to him. We went to a local family-run independent company. We were shown around by the ever so nice owner of the shop, OH found the bed he loves but we will have to wait till payday before we can decide if we will buy the mattress and base or just the mattress. I put on my charm offensive and managed to get the delivery fee (£30) waived and he also threw a head board worth £139 for £22. He agreed all this in principle and will make final arrangement after payday. If we'll go for the bed and mattress, headboard and delivery, it will cost us only £600, which will be at least £1000 if we went to a chain bed store.

Heard from DS1 in Italy. They arrived safely and they're having a blast. He finds it too hot though. He promised to keep hydrated so hopefully he'll be fine. Missing him so much.

The migraine is gone, thank goodness, but the dizziness is back with a vengeance. The BP is normal though. I am sticking to the put your feet up and relax regime prescribed by my private nurse.

Another day of being skint and eating out of the cupboards. Conveniently though it was the work summer BBQ this afternoon so got a free lunch of roast lamb and salad, a nice dessert of strawberries and cheesecake and some free booze.

After a few boozy beverages I wobbled home with some of the leftover fruit for brekkie tomorrow and a couple of beers for the weekend. Result!

    That's NSD 6

A quick perusal of the posts indicates that there is more midnight feast fodder for an ever hungry cauldron. :j
    Could the cauldron have worms?

I'll update properly tomorrow if that's ok.

Woo Hoo !!!!! What a night. That Tatty sure knows how to party for such a hefty lass. AND no one got arrested (where did we go wrong :rotfl:) My feet were killing me in those spongebob shoes but it was worth it to break them in for the wedding. Mrs Doyle made a luverly spread what with egg sarnies and tea and more egg sarnies and tea and more ....well you get the gist. Must say though there was a terrible pong in the Tardis on the way home (was it you marmite.. just admit it and we will go easy on you :D) can't wait for the wedding now.:)
Scotmum sashays her way sassily to the cauldron and deposits NSD #12 and NSD #13. Up side to working every day this week NO shopping :D

Ok,I admit that I was saddled with transporting the pilchard and horseradish mini quiches with a spicy fig and brown sauce coulis all wrapped up in paper, resulting in me being a bit pongy, but I would like to point out that it was Hubert who badgered Igor to make his fave dish (deep fried cabbage leaf and sprout medley with pickled eggs and curry sauce on the side),promptly scarfed seven of them and then had a mad dash to the loos.
    I rest my case m'lud.

BTW scotmum I notice that you have developed a fondness for Cheffie's chocolate moose...you do know,I presume, that Igor and Cheffie believe that chocolate and Ex-lax are the same thing? :rotfl:
I wouldn't bring this up usually, but we've only got one loo roll to see us until Monday!!!!:eek:

marmite creeps off stealthily, knowing that she's for the high jump...

Nargle that sounds like a nice money making scheme. :D
You'll never guess who else I got on tape....

Hubert, don't worry.I would never let on that you wear mane extensions and have had buttock implants.Never.

Spendy day today, motion lotion and food supplies, but hopefully tomorrow will be a NSD.

How did the wedding rehearsal go today? Are Igor and Tatty ready for the big day tomorrow? Everybody got their outfits ready? I see Knitwitch has put the knitted bunting up in the marquee, must have taken her ages to make it. The Good Ole Boys are setting up tonight so they have time to rehearse their set for the reception. Mrs Doyle is building a huge pyramid of about four hundred delicately iced cupcakes, and Chef has already installed the ginormous wedding cake on its stand. It all looks magnificent, just need to make sure the marquee is sealed off securely overnight as the reception isn't till tomorrow evening. I believe Tatty wanted a late afternoon wedding so her cousin Rigormortisa can get over from her home in the Black Mountains in time.

    Oooh, I love a wedding, don't you?
