    Morning all!
Congratulations to charliesmum on your new arrival.
Hugs to all off to hospital, and happy birthday to you celebrating!!
Glad your bbq went well aime.

Busy day here, we plan on walking into town with all the kids (something i havent done for ages and try not to as it all ways ending up costing me more!!)
3 out of 4 of the kids want their ears piecing (have no idea how much this will cost, but hoping because the 2 boys only want 1 ear each done they will only charge me once IYSWIM, its worth asking lol)
Have some bills to pay and need to buy grass seed and dh spent yesterday leveling the new seating area and its ready to be seeded now.
Then off to mr ts for a big food shop, armed with my shopping list which i will not go away from, really want to stick to the grocery challange this month.

Tea tonight is good old bangers and mash, followed by something with custard (found 2 tins of the stuff in cupboard that needs using!!) Im think warm hob-nobs and custard yummy!!

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning all,

Glad to see we weren't the only crazy ones watching the Meteor Shower:rolleyes: but as Penny said it was a fab display and worth the Stiff neck I'm suffering with this morning.

DS off to my mums tomorrow for a couple of days to be spoilt by her so need to supervise his case packing otherwise he will just throw anything in and end up looking like the rag n bone man.

Major job today, defrost the small freezer as the door isn't shutting properly because of the Ice:eek: DH has suggested I resort to using the heat gun as it will be quicker... I think not.

Hugs to JackieO and Pinks xxxx

    Take care

    Morning all

Very quiet here this morning without DD's - they're back tonight though :j

Spent most of Saturday in bed poorly - a gland and throat thing so I can sympathise with PenPens DD's. Felt a bit better yesterday so we ventured out for a bit - only to get stuck behind a horrific accident coming home - spent 2 hours stuck on the motorway before the police mananged to block the road and get everyone to turn around. The amount of ambulances/firecrew/police (even a police helicopter) and the time taken (and no ambulances speeding away) leads us to think it was a fatal accident. Always a bit un-nerving.

Food plans gone out the window - not had the energy to cook, DH has been great but now the kitchen looks like it needs sandblasting.

Need to get some stuff listed on ebay later and get the washing up to date - the grass will have to wait as I'm really not feeling up to it.

Hope you all have a great day and good luck to all those with hospital/doctors appointments.

  • Good morning all

    Happy Birthday elona
Congratulations to charlies mum on becoming a grandma. Best wishes to all your family.
Good luck at the hospital JuliaP and Pen-Pin
JackieO hope you are recovering well.
(((hugs))) to those with sore joints, stiff necks, feeling under the weather, etc.

I wish I had got up to see the meteor shower last night but as it seems to have been raining here overnight, chances are I wouldn't have seen anything anyway.

W**k today but I've already been a busy bee. Given some woodwork a second coat of paint so that when I come back home this afternoon, I can finish it off.

Dinner will be curry today as I have some bargain chicken pieces that need using. No idea what lunch will be yet (or breakfast for that matter).

    Have a marvellous Monday. xx

    Morning All

    Happy Birthday Elona
    Congratulations to Charliesmum

I had a lovely afternoon on the seafront. Was treated to a hot chocolate at a beachside cafe before going for a long walk. Was really, really nice. I also got slightly brown

Found out from yet more people that the ex was cheating all along. So glad I'm out of that now though. Looking back, it was never right from the start. Should've listened to my instincts and walked away after day 1. But you live and learn

At work again - argh! This whole working thing does seem to happen a lot. I mean, why do we have to work every day???? I think working should be abolished!:rotfl:

Got lots of Christmas shopping done over the weekend. Spent over £100 but one pressie was expensive - for sis. Can't say what it is in case she reads this! But I even found presents for BIL who is impossible to buy for. I'm amazed with myself!!!!

Mum made a bread pudding yesterday, which became breakfast for me. Enjoyed our first crop of runner beans from the garden with dinner last night. :T

Well better do my archerfish clicks before everyone gets in

    Hope all is well

  • Congratulations charlies mum on your new arrival!! Hope today finds everyone well. Had a really busy day yesterday, spent the whole of the afternoon in the garden and today i'm aching all over! serves me right for not being so fit! Going to aldis and asda today for a big shop then work have asked me to cover a few hour today so will go in about 1. Kids keep saying there bored so will have to find something inventive for them to do today, trouble is their age difference, there are very few things that they all enjoy doing together. Feel like more of a referee atm than a mum all they keep doing is squabbling. anyway off to the cash machine and to walk the dog wm is on but not too sure about the waether here today.Bye for now Sharron
