Evening All! Not posted since yesterday tea time as been busy getting ready for todays car boot. Was a wet and cold afternoon but made 93 quid!!! Can't believe it as it was a load of old tat ready for the tip, just brought a couple of bits home that I might try and ebay. Dead chuffed as really helped with money being a bit tight.
Nicki sorry to hear that, hope you're okay
Solwaykid Cute cats and a lovely garden

well done tracyg that's is great, I've always been put off going as my parents did a few and rarely made enough to cover the pitch fees!
Right need to work through finances tonight, 2 payments I made online haven't gone through last month and incurred late payment fees so I'm well miffed off! Going to see about setting up DD for them. Also bank balance and what I have written down is different so need to suss where I have gone wrong. Don't you just hate it when you think you have something sussed and it isn't! Oh what a fun Saturday evening, saying that could be worse, I could have a social life and be out wandering around pubs getting wet, putting up with drunks etc :rotfl: Give me paperwork any day!
Rach you are braver than me, I remember what me and my friends were like as teens when camping, oh the memories of being chased around the camp when we escaped :rotfl: hope you get caught up on your sleepOne day I might be more organised...........

Tracyg, that's pretty good going for a wet saturday, well done! Ta for the garden compliment too; it's a really pretty garden that someone has obviously spent a lot of time on but a series of rentees (me included) means it's often a wilderness. Plenty of cat friendly hidey holes though!
Apart from my 45 minute tidy up I've never really reached speed today. Just planning what I'm going to feed The Olds tomorrow and a mini shopping list then I'm off to bed.
Might catch you all in the morning before visitors arrive.

I've packaged 20 ebay parcels.. I have a few mroe to do but some have not paid, some I need bigger bags for and 4 are in the middle room and need digging out.. I got £19 for a bag of washable sanitary towels.. there are 13 in there but.. hey.. I'm pleased (they have only been washed but not worn!)
The middle room looks really empty without the old DW in there.. it even echoes when you walk or talk in there.. really strange. I have 8 stacking boxes of toys to sort through and 4 crates of random stuff most of which I know will end up in the bin.. I am trying to get the toys down to one shelf unit of neatly stacked stacking boxes and maybe the 2 boxes of duplo and the box of happyland which they do play with loads when they have the floor and enough to make a decent circuit. The little people are proving really popular now we have found most of it too.. keeping DD5 quiet for hours.. it is like they have a whole stack of new toys because they've not seen any of them for over 2 years.. before we moved here they were boxed and in the garage for the best part of a year.
I'm off to get my gladrags on and nip off to the public house... Nicki I'll have 2 beers for you.. am I having one or two for anyone else??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Have 2 for me, I'm feeling daring :rotfl: Seriously Pigpen I don't know how you cope with all that ebay packing, I get muddled with 5 or more items, not that I have sold much lately
Finding old toys usually makes my boys happier than getting new ones

Sorry to hear your news Nicky, I hope it works out well in the end for you all x
I've had a really busy one today, with the help of my lovely Mum who came round after I rang her in floods of tears because I'd cleaned the kitchen top to bottom and didn't have the energy to do anything else!
- Cleared kitchen worktops
- Wiped whole kitchen down...worktops, splashback, cupboards
- Done and mostly put away washing up
- 3 loads of washing
- Cleaned the floor
- De-cluttered the dining room
- Hoovered through downstairs
- Cleaned hall floor
- De-cluttered living room
- Cleaned living room floor
- Put away clothes in bedroom
- Moved clutter from one room into the right room (only office hasn't got put away yet)
- Dusted dining room
- Put away camping bits in spare room
- Polished off the cheesecake
Phew! My work here is done0 -
Just having a quick pop in while DH is washing up. Otherwise, the night has involved a very quick tea and a '24 - season 1' fest. In-laws left about 6ish, and we spent a bit longer with Charlie then put him to bed.
We are thinking we might take him swimming tomorrow, and fix a light at my mums we've been promising to do for a few weeks.
Nicki big hugs to you. Sorry it has come to that, it must have been a difficult decision. Feel free to rant to me. Can't say i've been there but i am good at listening.
Michelle, x0 -
Morning! Think this is the first time ever I'm one of the first ones up. Had an early night last night as both me and DH felt whacked, how sad is that for a Saturday night. Result being I woke up in the night for 2 hours cos I couldn't sleep as had loads more than I'm used to. DH got up at 6am with DS and now they're both back in bed.
Solwaykid and Lil me thanks for the well done! Our families are thinking of standing there now as it was so good, going to try and put the last few bits on ebay today (got things like a brand new coat DS has never worn cos its gross but someone will like it)
Not sure whats planned for today, its a wet, yucky day here. Going to look at my To Do list and see what needs to be done this week. Had new credit cards to start beginning of Sept and can't find them anywhere - think I've flung them! - so DH has just rung and cancelled them and reordered - one thing crossed off!
Enjoy your Sunday folks!Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
