Hugs to you nicki, thinking of you.
We are having a lovely sunday afternoon, awful weather but we have the playdough stuff out and we have a Harry Potter cd from the library on the cd player. DD is now setting up a shop to sell her playdough biscuits.
I need to stick to the lists each day for the next couple of weeks, as I return to work (teaching) on the 3rd of September. The house is so much better now. We had a party here last night for OH's godmother, and we were able to sort the house so it was presentable very quickly. So thanks for the support and ideas on here, particularly lil-me!
I am going to post my list of extras in the hope it will motivate me to strike them off each day.
Essential list before work starts
Sort insurance
Ring tax
Sort wardrobe
Sort budget
Put maternity clothes on ebay
Planning and paperwork for start of term
I have noticed a few of you are teachers. I have come up with a draft flylady type routine for work. If anyone would like a copy PM me. It is not perfect but it might spark off ideas for you.
Happy flying,

Afternoon all :hello: Thanks for all the hugs etc. They're really are appreciated
Didn't get up until 2pm
Yesterday when I post I was in the middle of a arguement with OH via text message (he was with people so we couldn't speak), I'd been drinking on an empty stomach and was mad to say the least so I apologise for the "all men are b*stards" remarkI know they aren't, but at the time that was the way I was feeling.
Things are slightly better today, we've spent a good 4 hours talking, hence the not getting up until 2pmIt's going to be awkward, but all break-ups are so I'm working on getting out and about with people who I know so that should make things alot easier. We're working on things, and I think we'll be fine, just a little awkward still living together, but we're best mates so we'll manage just fine.
Right, need to go and see my family now. Just need to gather a few bits I need to return to them. I'll be back later, when I'll work my way through the posts properly:wave:

Hi busy Sunday People,
Welcome to the thread msgnomey, hope you'll join us on the new one when it starts!
Pollybear, what a shame for your neighbours' cat, hope they don't leave that bloke in charge again.
Nicki, you sound a little more resolved today and at least you're still speaking to each other. Good lass.
I had a lazy start this morning, I'd almost forgotten how to have a lie-in. Parents arrived at 11 and have just left. Fab buffet lunch off our laps if I do say so myself (no dining table). My step dad has drilled and put my new bathroom blind up which means the bathroom is officially finished. I started it in March or April I think..
Me and my mum switched round the door on my freezer;also been 'ongoing' since April. And mysteriously all the washing up has been done and the kitchen is tidier than when they came. I swear she's got a magic stop watch, I didn't notice it happening that's for sure but I'm not complaining!
All I've got to do today is the ironing but I might need your help with a swift kick.

Get the ironing board out Solway!
I'm just taking a five minute break from mine to check on here, then I'm going back to finish it off and then whip up the yorkshire pud batter to go with our roast.
It'll warm you up too!...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

That thread is scarey. Though the one thing I am looking forward to this winter is putting the fire on. The ex could never be bothered, and neither of us spent that much time in the lounge, but this year I'm going to put it on lots, if only to use up all the coal that's in the coal shed so I can move it, plus saves putting on the heating just for me.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
