I did say ish lol. I have just finished layering up the lasagne which is now in oven for tea (had issue as mince was still frozen, that defrost button saved dinner!) tidied some of kitchen (unfortunately have another batch of WU to do now) tidied a little of the boys room, they are hopefully picking more stuff up as I type, found DS2 had wet bed (he lied and had hidden the sheets behind the wardrobe this morning) so at least I know why it was smelly now, will keep a check on how many sheets he has now if he's starting to hide them so they are in the wash, will have to TD them to get them done for tonight. Bins empty and recycling out, dogs been out. That's about all really.
Right off to do 25 minutes (cooking time that is left on dinner) in DSs bedrooms, see if we can get some things sorted at least. One day I might be more organised...........

Mum of many, becca, pigpen - thanks for the wise words re having number 3. I am hoping it will just fit in so am glad I am not totally deluded LOL. My Mum, bless her (thsts bless her said through very gritted teeth) said to me last night "well if you're tired now then what on earth are you going to be like when the baby comes". Thanks Mum, thats helpful. I remember from the other 2 that the afterwards tiredness is very different and certainly after the first couple of weeks, not nearly as bad as the pregnancy exhaustion.
I have definitely hit a wall with it, hubby let me sleep til 10 this morning :j but I still felt wrecked all day, went into town for nursing bras - 38H- and some other bits and felt h3llish to be honest. Evening everyone. I've had a very lazy day really, this morning I striped the last of the paper off the wall in the ex's study, then went to ASDA and bought lots of nice fruit and veggies as I realised that I've been eating more and more junk recently and I really could do with some proper food, plus some for the ratties as well (they eat better than I do). I also got some much needed socks, and 2 new tops. Then this afternoon I popped to the local shops to get my sister a birthday present and got another 2 tops and some leggings.
I've done no housework today, then again, not a lot of point as they have created a mess everywhere while boarding the ceiling and boxing in the boiler.
Right I think I am going to go do a 30 minute challenge, atleast that should get the rooms they haven't messed up sorted.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
I am back! I did: emptied dry clothes from indoor dryer, folded and put away, matched up socks, filled the ironing basket some more, tidied the living room incl. hotspot coffeetable, finished off butternutsquash soup, cleaned away some dirty dishes from making soup and when I got back to report my DD1 had taken over the computer
I had to pick up my DD2 from gymnastics, dished up tea and now a quick go on here before doing the dishes, filling the washing machine and maybe doing some ironing (see the piggies fly)
Thanks Solwaykid for the challenge!!0 -
hello all
i've not managed to read through the whole thread but hope all are well and happy.
i'm back form my very wet and muddy camping trip. it was a great week though i'm knackered now as didn't get enough sleep! trying to get 50 teenagers to bed every night is no small feat...
i've had a bath and am watching comfort tv in my pjs, going to make sausage and mash for dinner. i've not managed to completely unpack the car but the first load of washing is done so that's a start. i was so pleased i'd hoovered round before i left as it was reasonable to get back to!
anyway, hope all are ok. will try and follow the thread next week but my mum is visiting.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Have you ever had one of those days where you want to stand in the middle of a field and scream you head off and smash anything and everything up because you are so angry/frustrated/upset/sick of everything? Well I'm having one of those days. DD is in bed - had to send her up as I just couldn't cope with her getting so over excited watching the film. I put her favourite new CD on for her but I still feel like a lousey mum, but better I send her to bed then end up screaming and shouting at her for breathing
Having a row via text message is not recommended!
Right, calm. I need to eat before I start drinking otherwise I'll be legless by 7.30Will see what I can find.

lil_me - lasagne - mmmmm - I madw one last night and it was fab if I do say so myself
poohbear - thanks for advice on more than 2 as well. I will be doing mornings mostly on my own, it just turns to chaos when OH there so I want him up and out early so he can come home early and I will just get
I am not (fora change) joining in the man bashing today, my husband seems to have been replaced with a differnt one who is sympathetic, good around the house, great with the kids, and not huffy
He got them up, dressed, breakfasted, tidied away the brekkie things, took them out all day including doing a picnic, let me lie in bed all afternoon, brought me up a cup of tea and cereal, has just done the kids tea, and asked what the plan is for getting them out in terms of jammies, baths etc. He's been a star all day. Oh and he said "I dont suppose you are getting up with them tomorrow either are you" meaning he will do it :T And he managed to remind DS enough about the toilet that he's had dry pants all day :T :TJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Evening all, just digesting my dinner - sausage - mash with homegrown tatties, homegrown carrots and runner beans - plates all cleaned.
Went to visit my Grandma with the kids (she is 87 and fantastic). Whilst she is in great health I feel sad that at her age time is limited. She is my last link to my Dad so it will be really difficult when her time comes. I am going to make a point of visiting her much more often and spend time chatting about her life which whilst that of just a working class woman is fascinating.
Had to fed kids before upstairs was done but they will not be watching x factor until it is done.
JillD enjoy your dinner, I never look forward to going out in the evening but am always glad when I do.
Lil-me thanks I'll get some bazucca next time I am in Tesco
Nikki hugs to you, hope you can chill out this eveningThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have wartner (£13 for 12 applications) for her V's.. nasty things.. I'm not into all this 'hope this works' kind of stuff.. I like to zap and watch it die!!! lol I have very little faith in homeopathic/alternative stuff.. none of it ever seems to work IME.. and we've tried a lot!!!
JillD .. Ignore your mum she is just being a whinge.. the tiredness is different once you've given birth plus your body isn't sustaining 2 people and growing one of them it only has to cope with you which makes it so much easier on your organs. I do hope hubby does a bit more to help for the next few weeks.. it is hard when you watch them doing nothing and can see a million things which need to be done.. only a few weeks left and you'll have that bundle in your arms! xx
My lot are just on their way up the merries so I'll have peace (ish) very soon.
DS2 is trying to get out of doing his injections now.. he says he has done them when he hasn't.. so I'm having to supervise them again.. oh joy!! Only another 5 years of doing them... *sigh*LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
