Morning everyone,
I've not been around much this week as hubby has been on holiday all week :j , plus we had my sister to stay for a few days and new boss finally emailed me back (with a pile of academic stuff to do!) so time on the computer has been in short supply.
Still all this flying has paid off - DH and I managed to do a complete clean and preparation of the house ready for big sister in 2 hours - result!
Anyway, I just dropped in to say hello and mainly to say Good Luck! to Sexymouse. I hope the trial shift goes ok and I'll look forward to hearing about it after the event.
Hugs to everyone, and I'll be back for more flying next week,

Thanks everyone, you've made me feel a lot better. Just polished my shoes and I'm changed ready to go already. Just realised that I haven't had breakfast yet though, so off to find some fruit and fibre as this should fill me up. Don't want to pass out from lack of food, especially as I'll be serving it to everyone else. lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Morning!
Good luck with the trial shift sexymouse, I'm sure you'll be fine.
Happy holidays to those going off this weekend and hugs to those of you with poorly children, beligerent tweenagers and parents who need parenting.
I'm not long back home after a works leaving party last night. Really lovely meal out and some happy hour drinks and a right good socialise. Sad to see my friend leaving though. When I say I've not long been home I mean I stayed at another friend's closer to Town and not that I've been out all night!
My list from Thursday is still here looking at me so I might as well just crack on with that. I need to get tidied up for my parents visit tomorrow too - my Mum doesn't even try to do things in my house anymore but she's probably itching to. I used to think it was a kind of criticism when she tidied up or wiped down but I know now it's a very giving and trying to be helpful thing.
Off to do some things now, in my experience I'm usually fine and lively after a night out up until about 3pm then I need to lay on the sofa with (usually) Amelie on DVD. Helps counter the post-alcohol mood slump!

Well hubby is 'talking to God' after drinking WAY too much last night.. I'm feeling a bit ropey myself but I'm not letting him know that lol
My mother rang at 9:30 this morning and asked if I was up yet.. I said no and my phone died.. lol So I had to get up and ring her back because she thought I'd hung up on her HAHAHA Anyway I have to gi round there and thread my overlocker so she can sew her skirt before lunchtime.. just having another cuppa and I'm off..
The DW which I ebayed has been collected so we have beer money for tonight now. Just got to parcel up the 30-odd things which have sold and I have another 9 finishing with bids tonight so no doubt there will be more and then I need to transfer the money from paypal to the bank account.
DD1 has her beady eyes on some shoes on ebay.. and DS1 is off to buy new trainers later.
Right.. best move or I'll be here all day.
See you all in a bit.
JillD .. I found 3 easier than 2.. number 3 kind of slipped into the routine we already had his feeds were between our meal times or while dinner cooked I fed him then he would sleep while we ate.. and he wouldn't need another feed until the other 2 were already in bed.. The others were all pretty much the same.. though sometimes the sling was a Godsend and the only way I could get anything done.. strap the baby on and off we went... I can do ANYTHING with a baby under 1 arm and 2 toddlers stuck to my leg! I can even pee while BF'ing lmao!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
