Hope all the poorlies feel better soon. Am off out to buy the ingredients for the flan I was going to make tomorrow, as with the trial shift at lunchtime, I won't have much time to do anything then. Jobs seem to be like buses for me at the mo after not being able to find anything - 2 temp agencies have called, and I have this trial shift at my local. At least I know that I have options if I don't like the pub, which is good.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

DD has decided to throw a "I'm bored so I'm going to cry and throw things around" strop  Solution - banished to the bedroom with the door shut, coming out for meals only:o It's worked though as she's now dressed and playing with Meccano  She wanted ANOTHER Harry Potter-thon  NOT A CHANCE, I realised she spent Monday at my mums playing on my brothers playstation, Tuesday at work with OH on the cbeebies website all day and then the past 2 days on the sofa watching Harry Potter films for 7 hours straight each day :o:o:o So I've said No TV today at all, tomorrow if she is good and behaves herself she can have a "Disney Princess-athon" But she won't have that much time for it as we'll do Asda and clothes tomorrow before hand :rotfl:
Off to sort out washing - I'm hoping the rain stays off long enough for me to get some bedding for our bed dry  :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Right, am back after my teenager strop moment:o DS is very out of sorts today, after swimming he'll always sleep for at least 2 hours. He woke up screaming after an hour and has been really whinging after his lunch, just managed to get him back in bed so hopefully he's just tired out and not sickening for something. MIL has just rung and wants to take him out at 3 for a bit so gonna get myself moving and get on with some stuff while hes gone.
Kaz what a cutie, I get upset having to leave my too as well
Lil me hope your DP is okay
Michelle well done on the wardrobe organsing, sounds fab. Notice from your list your visiting your Aunt (sorry being nosey!), is that the same lady who was really poorly, how is she doing?
Sexymouse good news on the jobs!
So my list, see what I can get done- [STRIKE]Peg out washing
- Tidy and dust bedroom
- S&S bathrooms
- Sort out car boot stuff[/STRIKE] one massive car full, hope we get it all in DHs estate and it all goes
- Tidy spare room - started, moved everything from there I can, need to wait until garage is empty tomorrow
- Tidy dining room - as above
- [STRIKE]Collect bits up and box up
- Put swimming stuff away
- Clean downstairs loo
- Hoover through[/STRIKE] done all upstairs, downstairs and have just mopped through downstairs
- PLUS Dusted and tided DS room
- Dusted all downstairs
- S&S kitchen counters
- Cleaned sink and bleached
- Empited kitchen bin, wiped and is outside drying with disinfection
- Tried on 2 pairs of pre-baby trousers found under spare bed - almost there!
- Put everything back where it belongs
- Played with DS before he left for 30mins and got him changed and ready to go
- In PIGPEN style-y one full bin bag flung!
EDIT Just crossing off what've done, yay am pleased will what I can do in two hours, pooped now though! Good jobs its an easy tea tonight - DH pie from farm shop and chips, me jacket spud and something. Will drink this cuppa, check for any dry washing outside and get myself sorted for DH coming home (not done anything since shower at pool and its a scary sight!) xLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Afternoon all, I signed in this morning but then got distracted!
Cut the grass back and front, first chance this week and it's supposed to rain again tomorrow.
DD's bed stripped, washed and bedding put back on.
Not much else done apart from normal washing up etc.0 -
Well I've got my feel good music blasting out of the computer :dance::dance: 2 loads of washing done and 1 almost dried, another 3 to go though  I've done flowers and nothing else :rotfl: Off to do some jobs..I think I might just run the mop through instead of hoovering & then mopping
DD is now listening to music in her room and singing along so she's happy
Off to find something for tea :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
cha97michelle wrote: »Can't remember if i posted my list last night or not, but i think i should chuck it in again anyway. Productive start so far. feeling a bit sad that it is my last week day at home with Charlie, but i tried to make the most of it by taking Charlie to baby clinic and for local errands, but then took him to the park on the way back for a bit, which he loved.
anyway, list:
Friday 17/08:
[strike]Deal with post [/strike]
Make bottles
[strike]Transmit shop and scan[/strike]
[STRIKE]Bring in bin[/STRIKE]
[strike]Pack baby bag for clinic and visits[/strike]
[strike]Take Charlie to baby clinic[/strike]
[STRIKE]Visit aunty – take spag bol[/STRIKE]
Put away travel bags properly
Empty kitchen bin
Clean kitchen bin, and sink/draining board/plastic drainer
[strike]Get some beans from somerfield, and a loaf, and any cake making bits I need[/strike]
Make a cake
Put spare toiletries into new underbed storage boxes
DH said he may call in on his way from a site meeting to the office, so i should try and do a bit of something before he gets back about 11:30ish. Charlie currently having a nap.
I am absolutely shattered today. And my throat is killing again - think i need to drink more.
tracey yes it is the same aunty who was very poorly. She got out of hospital last Wednesday, and is pottering around at home recuperating. Still very weak and unable to stand for long periods of time, hence taking her some spag bol for tea tonight, with lots of veggies in for extra vitamins as otherwise she would be on tins of soup or similar. My uncle has taken her a couple of dinners, and my sister will provide tomorrows. Will probably take around a couple of things a week to keep her going.
It's great she is out of hospital as it has taken so much strain off my dad as he felt obliged to visit every day, and this was since April. He has really bad pressure sores on his feet which he has had for nearly a year, and he needs to have a skin graft on them, so he may finally put himself first.
Charlie refusing to give in and have an afternoon nap, so i had best go get him back up, but i really want a rest. Oh well, i can hear him rattling the airer on the radiator so i had best get him.0 -
My family have been really helpful today. They have swept and mopped all hard floors and DD vacuumed carpets in her lunch hour. We have also done 4 loads of washing and used the tumble dryer to save energy (mine not electricity). Home made fish and chips for boys tonight, plain fish and jackets or wedges for girls.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Panic over, DP had contacted them about his ankle, see this time he went over on a path near us which is seriously bad, all he wants is something doing about it but district council is saying it's the parish councils responsibility and vice versa. My sons fell on it 4 times, he most recent danaging his face.
Anyway he's got a referal for physio, what's winding me up is I've paid 4 months of gym fees when he's been unable to go. I had to go back to the doctors, throat swab came back and needed different prescription. 40 minutes wait in the pharmacy, grr, I've never known one as slow! DP didn't do boys book shelf as we remembered it was his step mum's birthday, I know it's before mine you see, so had to go there and sort pressies etc.
Overall a very non productive day with very little done, haven't even done the boys beds so going to do them in a mo, will put the spare bedding sets on and try to get them washed over the weekend. DP now packed off to work, decided he wanted to take food in so did that, need to decide what to have myself now, maybe a pork & veg stir fry as he doesn't like that.
Michelle hope your Dad gets himself sorted now, must be very painful for him, maybe do a little nagging!
Poohbear pleased to hear the kids have been helpful
Tracyg hope the little one settles down, so frustrating when they are out of sorts, you don't know why and nothing settles them.
Nicki hope your DD has now 'calmed down' a little, seems to be a day for it as mine have been much less than perfect
Kaz, how cute! I know what you mean about hating sending them 'away' as such, we're on about changing cars so we can take them camping with us instead. Hope the hols goes well regardless. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0
